Not always such a nice place to be back then WB. I recall as a 13/14/15 year old and going to Lyon's on Craven Brow on sat nights. I caught the 10.40 bus to Blackburn from the Boundary which pulled in about two bus lengths behind the one in the pic and then had a rather nervous hundred yard walk to the Preston New Road bus which was the first stop on the right after the No Entry sign to catch the last bus to Billinge End. As a young Mod the Bouly could be a dangerous place as it was frequently infested with any number of Nebs / Greasers / Rockers (call em what you will).
