Somebody needs telling that for integration to become a reality that both sides must want it to happen! Also this 'vee must have mosque vithin 10 minute valk' malarky was put in place over a thousand years before the invention of the internal combustion engine!


Just as an aside .... How about starting by pulling down and demolishing ALL religious establishments and leaving the Cathedral as a non denominational 24/7 facility which the various religions could share e.g Christian 10-11, Hindu, 11-12, Muslim 12-1, any other 1-2 then rinse and repeat. Until of course people can come to their senses, use whats between their ears and realise that needing an invisible friend to get them through life is a serious psychological condition which must be treated and dealt with appropriately.

Seems it'll be even worse today as today is the 70th anniversary of Israel being created. Hamas yet again manipulating poorly educated 'believers' into getting themselves shot or blown to smithereens so that presumably a few errant muslims with absolutely no connection to Palestine can erect flags on Whitebirk roundabout and in doing so court adverse publicity for Israel mainly but the western powers in general. Yesterday reports surfaced saying that a baby had been killed by tear gas or something. Are we expected to blame the Israelis when parents are so obviously to blame? Who on God's earth would take a baby to such an inflammatory situation? Whoever are the parents of that baby should be strung up by their necks from the border crossing. Is it very dreadful of me to have guessed correctly that the poor child was a girl?


Reminds me there's a piece all over BBC NW news about a man who was killed on that coach trip in Saudia whilst on the Hajj. His son is bemoaning the lack of information that he is receiving (or rather not receiving) from the Saudias. Now one I am hardly surprised as 'hajj' deaths appear quite common with usually a few hundred dying every year in one accident or another. However I was speaking with a muslim chap about this last year. I said if Allah is so merciful, good and all powerful why does he kill so many of his followers reon his pilgrimages? He said we don't mourn those people because it is Allah's will to take them on their pilgrimage and we believe that they will go straight to heaven.
Seems the old mullahs and Imams have every possible angle covered doesn't it?

Not looking good is it . If the Labour Councillors ever do raise the money, perhaps they could rename a bit of spare land Hypocrites Corner and plonk it there , hopefully well out of sight .

Driving through Pleasington the other day , before stopping off at the Butlers for a couple ( wife drove back !) . I'm sure I saw the well honed frame of ex Audley Councillor Sir Bill Taylor taking a leisurely stroll . Surely, as a true working class hero, he doesn't live in the leafy suburb , does he ?

Having said that the next statue might be of Hamas leader , Khaled Mashal , if these photos are anything to go by . Many might recognise this place , used to be the May House Restaurant , not sure what it is now but I see lots of young children being dropped off after school . Makes you wonder what sort of education is being provided and whose providing it .
