So I really think and hope fury can do it on Sunday morning and ill be buying it and setting my alarm to get up in time to see it anyone else??
No not really interested in boxing . The last big fight that caught my eye was Ali v Frazier in the early 70s . Remember seeing a massive black and white photo in the Lancashire Evening Post window on Fishergate on the way to school . It seemed like the whole world watched that fight .

One day too early for me.
I fly to the states on Sunday morning.
Had the fight been on Sunday night, i could have watched it live in a bar but instead i will be tucked up in bed before an early drive to Manchester airport.

I've never watched boxing since Sky made all the decent fights pay per view. I have no interest whatsoever any more.

Al has a point though. Lots of sports have suffered by following a short term gain, long term loss policy and selling out to Sky etc. Those who pay for the facilities are as keen as ever but for people like Al and myself the sports soon fade away and reduce in importance.

I ain't forking out or staying up, wouldn't mind watching it but really can't be bothered with a repeat of that Klitschko v Fury fight so i'll catch the early repeat.
I expect this to be a bit clumsy but wouldn't be surprised if Fury wins it.

Weird this.. I've just seen the weigh in on the news and that wilder had some sort of predator face mask on for the weigh in plus a bracelet of sorts whilst when Furey got on the scales someone unfastened a tiny gold chain from his neck! Whats all that about?

Now I'm not a great student of boxing form but that Wilder looks too small to be taking on Furey. 3 stones can absorb some punches, just as long as they aren't on the point of the jaw that is. Be interesting to see the consequences of losing so much weight in so short a time might have done to Furey.

Wilder always wears that, Fury always acts the knob it's all gone WWF these days to help con those undecided people into subscribing PPV.

Agree on the weight I think Wilder has ballsed up there although he rarely comes in near 16 stone I don't think. Fury isn't a noted big puncher but he is quite accurate I can se him flinging Wilder around the ring like a rag doll although he'll run out of steam later on for sure.

Fury by ko or Wilder on points.

Fury easily won four or five rounds, Wilder about four including the knockdown rounds and a few close ones so yeah a bit of a dodgy one in US yet AGAIN although not quite the robbery of the century I think the official stats will confirm that. Maybe they should scrap judges and wait until official stats are in before calling it !

Those who don't watch much if any boxing have to get to grips with the fact judges don't see it as we do they are ringside after all but there's usually one bent one who massages it just in case. The Brit judge gave a draw though....

Also most outbox Wilder he knows that he just looks for openings rather than get involved with a game of chess, quicker than Klitschko as the two knockdowns proved. Not many get up so credit Fury for that, still think he's ripe to be ko'ed though and always have it'll just take more than 15 stone Wilder to do it.

Always needed a knock out to win a title in the US back when I followed the sport.

The US has waited a long time to have a long reigning HW champ again, probably since Holyfield took over from Tyson then Lewis became boss although based over there he was always a wannabe Yank. Klitschkos then took over and mostly fought away from America and you can see why.

Wilder was well steered into position after being protected when that WBC belt became available again, he's the WBC's pet project along with money maker Canelo so it's make sure they never lose a close fight at all costs. Joshua was totally right not to go over there with all those belts he's won and grafted to keep he'd have had to knock Wilder into orbit for 3 days in order to win.

Fury had nothing to lose and a good purse to make.

3 stones is a lot! Is it an advantage or a disadvantage? I suppose it might be an advantage in the early rounds but it's a lot to lug around against a World class opponent in the later stages.

Strange that he has so much weight behind him but is generally considered as someone that doesn't have a 'knock-out blow'.

It's a bit of a disgrace how the vast majority of the British nation cannot watch this tonight. It's even more of a disgrace to think that even if you pay an already expensive digital TV subscription (for BT Sports), you are then expected to fork out £25 more for one-off fights.

Me neither. I just elect to ignore sports that sell their soul to sky etc.

Might have a look if there's a decent stream before deciding to stay up or not.

Though with a start time of 3-4am there's plenty of time yet.
