Watched the fight on youtube (13 min highlights) and it was a one way contest. Fury's game plan was perfect. Keep advancing on the front foot and keep Wilder backing off. That way his devastating punching power was much weakened by leaning back.
If Wilder got into a clinch Fury put all his 275lb weight on him and quite obviously exhausted him. He caught Wilder with a heavy right hand to the side of the head in the 2nd or 3rd round and I think that is when he damaged his ear. Towards the end Wilder was blowing bubbles and Fury looked like it was the first round. Just a matter of time then and when Wilder's management saw that his punching power had gone they threw the towel in. Given the amount of blood coming out of an ear from the 5th onwards I'm surprised that the ref didn't either stop the fight or get a doctor to take a look.
In the end it was a man against a boy and when the towel went in no dodgy judges could do a thing about it.

I don’t want to post a link here but the full fight is on YouTube. Fury absolutely batters Wilder, he surely must have been taken to hospital afterwards.

Finally started at 5.15am. Praise the streaming Gods and good folks at Discord, lol, that I had an excellent stream.

I suspect the highlights will speak for themselves. Wilder got a jab and a right in the first 2 rounds and that was more or less it.

Fury dominated from start to finish. After the first knock down which I think is when Wilder got his ear ripped open. Wilder was all over the place. He got saved by the Bell on one occasion and falling over seemed to also save him from being knocked down on another couple of occasions.

It seems pillow fists has been working on his punch strength. As Wilder looked punch drunk from the 3rd onwards, and everyone was probably still waiting for his big right, but it didn't look like he even had any energy for it.

In many ways it's a pity they threw in the towel as it allowed him to complain about his corner. Though it was just a matter of time before he'd be hitting the canvas again.

Where does Fury go from here? Another rematch with Wilder? Will Joshua continue to run scared?

I could be wrong cos I know nowt about these things but I think I have heard think that a condition of Wilder agreeing to fight Fury was that he could demand a re-match should he choose to. This time he will only get a third of the purse and not two thirds.

The Dylan White fight last night was the funniest thing I've seen for a while.
If you can find a replay. Do it!

Not a boxing fan , although I loved the Ali / Joe Frasier bouts of the early 70s . Is Tyson Fury England’s best ever ? One heck of a fighter and obviously proud of his roots as he sang “ Lancashire la la la “ in one of his post fight interviews 😂

Interesting take on Tyson from Colin Brazier , the best journalist/news presenter on TV

He's been very underrated in the past imo. Almost because he is humorous he has been cast as a joke figure. I don't think that opinion will survive much longer. His fists have done the talking.

Just caught up with the fight, I’m sat here stunned to be honest. I’ve been watching boxing since 70’s that is without doubt in the top 5 fights I’ve ever seen, superb stuff.

Credit to Wilder, he looked shot after 3 rounds and managed to survive, but the better man won, it should never have gone to a 3rd fight, but I’m glad it did.

Fury has won me over, I don’t mind admitting it, so much so If he fights over in Vegas again I think I'll be on the plane. Clearly some of his comments and antics in his early career were born out of mental health issues, hopefully he’s over that now and hes bringing those belts back to Lancashire.

Just watched the fight and if Wilder wasn't known as a puncher the fight should have been stopped 3 rounds earlier. Fury had close to twice the punches landed that Wilder had. He doesn't look like it should be but Fury's stamina is prodigious for such a heavy bloke. He's skinny legs too! Powerful legs is where punching power is supposed to start.
I'd say he's pretty much undisputed Heavyweight Champion at the moment.

I watched it last night and I think Wilder had definitely gone by round seven. Tyson is a huge man and I’ve never seen a boxer apparently growling as he landed punches on an opponent.
