Bradley Dack

Old Darwen Blue

Prediction Champion 2021 & 2022
I’ve heard a rumour Bradley has ruptured his ACL. He will be out for at least nine months scuppering a January move to West Brom. I don’t know how accurate the source is though.

I hardly think a serious injury to one of our best players, and one which could even be career threatening is a reason to make that post waggy. Especially as it's based on rumour. I hope that you might see fit to change it.

As for the club, we've either lost the services of a good player or missed out on a good few million which might well have been used to strengthen the defence for a promotion push.

No itts the best for us,he would have gone in january for sure,i dont think the injury is that bad and he is no great miss,i think he is vastly overated and a soft southern puff.

I for one hope Dack is ok. I would not wish that injury on anyone.

Rovers are keeping very quiet about it, you would think it is Christmas.

1. You're certain he'd have gone in January - so other teams think he's really good.
2. He gets man-marked every game - so other teams think he's really good.
3. As a number 10, he's scored 46 goals in 115 games for Rovers - so other teams think he's really good!

The grass is always greener on the other side where football fans are concerned. For example the ridiculous fad these days of chanting the names of subs, no matter if the person on the bench was getting slated to high heaven by the same fans 2 months ago.

We lose Dack for a sustained period and our effective striking options are Gallagher (1 in 6 career strike rate), Graham (34 years old) and Armstrong (a classic super-sub type). Rest aren't even worth a mention they're that bad. We'd be in trouble in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. The main ones I remember playing sunday league were 10 stitches in my lip, a challenge that went through my shinpad leaving a pretty tasty scar, and a broken toe. I only acknowledged the first of those during the game (sprayed it with a water bottle and ran back on but got told to go off again). Not saying I'm hard or anything, you just learn that whinging in amateur football doesn't go down well! But the one injury I pretty much screamed was tearing my ACL, the pain is bloody horrible for a few minutes.

Completely illogical. The change to Vietnamese beer isn't agreeing with you.

1. If Dack is as bad as you say, then an overrated, soft southern poof and would be 'no great miss'. Surely then you should welcome a big money sale which would allow us to strengthen the weaker areas and pay a few bills.
Who knows we might even be able to bring in an underrated northern HE man to replace him who might appeal more to your sensibilities.
Whilst we are at it waggy you really rated David Raya didn't you? In which direction would you have to travel to get to Spain from Lancashire?

2. What medical qualifications do you have which can diagnose the extent of an injury from a TV screen?

I think Waggy just doesn’t like Bradley and that’s it, even if he got us promoted and scored a hat trick to relegate b***ley.

12 months seems a long time when I can recall Shearer returning to Prem action in 9.

So my info was accurate with regard to his injury. I wonder about the other bit regarding his transfer?

Well if we could get anything over 5 million for him now I'd take it.

The fact that he will be out until next December means that he will be with us for a half-season when by all accounts we would have lost him for the full season if the rumour was true. If he then proves himself from January up until the end of next season then he will get his big money move and we can get a higher fee for him.
There you go, a perfect example of my ability to find a positive in any negative scenario.

He'll never be a new Dack. A footballer yes, but never a striker.
