Crest nothing clear cut and could have played all day and not scored. It’s dire and I’ve had enough of watching it politely.

Look at PNE as a comparison. Roughly a similar budget to ourselves, almost in the play offs today and 4 months ago the supporters were calling for the Manager's head. I bet a few bob that a good number of them will feel stupid now but I'd wager more that very very few will ever admit it.

The first was a mile offside though. The last Wharton knocked it from the keepers hands although close, The JRC one was a clear goal for me and I will give you that but we did nothing for the rest of the game. I lost interest by half time. It was dire. Not a single shot on target. Most of our players appeared to be asleep, particularly Brittain and Pears. We were lucky to not concede a penalty when Brittain clearly pulled Moore's shirt.

It sounds like the second half was an improvement, but I didn't really pay attention.

The failure of others in and around us is our only saving grace. We need to pull our finger out of arses and do better.

Special mention to Callum Brittain who has to be the worst player of the year for me. Ponderous going forwards, a waste in possession and generally scared of the ball. Christ I would rather we gave a youngster a debut than him play. He’s the type of pea sized heart what dosent give a shit.

Brittain played OK in the second-half from what I saw, to be fair, but probably in the usual bucket of ineffectually huffing and puffing. I suppose that's what £750k and, presumably, cheap wages gets you.

Good post @Dunnfc. He has some interesting skills but unfortunately it seems like his choices during the games are not the best. The two yellows versus Middlesbrough is still coming to my mind when I see him play.
