I thought we were very poor again tonight apart from 10 / 15 minutes when we upped our huff and puff game. Sammie had an absolute stinker, offside too many times as usual, head down and complaining at our players all game - he needs to get his mojo back.

When Scott Wharton was given MOTM some wag near me shouted “The sponsors must be Blackburn Blind School”. Wharton, our two full backs, Sammie and Pears were dogs today.

What does Gilsenan need to do to get game time? JE brought on Moran instead

JE has turned out to be a dud. He was clearly appointed by Steve Waggott rather than Broughton - he looks to be one of our worst managerial appointments ever.

I have also to say how weak our bench was today which is testimony to some terrible recruitment over the last few years. Moran Chrisene Ayari all looked like boys playing against men. We certainly missed Gally today!

I was thinking something similar on my way home - I have seen some shocking officiating over the years - but I struggle to remember a worse showing in 52years - it was that bad
Would love to hear what the Ipswich fans are saying on their way home - if they are honest, I bet even they couldnt believe the bias

Just something else I noticed - the Ipswich player was obviously trying to get in Pears head even as the were setting up for kick off - did he rik at Portman Rd too?

No it was a separate incident pal. I could see the bottle on the pitch towards the half way line. The incident to which I refer was down towards the Blackburn End about five meters along. It was funny to watch as the linesman didn't even look around at the crowd. I was genuinely thinking what power does that steward have to get the fan to desist if he wasn't using any foul or abusive language.

I even went and vented at the linesman when he gave an offside - I was in line and he was a good 6ft ON-side!! I flt he was just giving us two fingers
As for JE and what he is doing - he is throwing 11 names on a team sheet and just hoping he does an Owen Coyle at Burnley - and stumble on a formula

IMO eustace would have been lined up months ago when jdt was clearly wanting out. The speed of him being appointed after tomasson left virtually confirms this.

I disagree. We look a team with a lot of injuries and a weak lower order of a squad. Having said that how Moran and Ayari were preferred to Garrett and gilsenan in last nights situation baffles me.

Sky highlights were just pathetic so I'm sorry to have to post some extended ones with rather an Ipswich slant. Another ref might have allowed two of the three disallowed goals. The keeper would have got nowhere near JRC's shot for a start and how a linesman can judge whether he was in line of sight or not is mystifying, alsi if Scott had not put his hand on the keepers shoulder there was no reason to chalk the 3rd disallowed goal off. Wharton had out jumped the keeper by a mile and his head made contact with the ball at the same time as the keepers hands.

What’s the excuses for failing to control the ball? What’s the excuses for the poor first touch? I hate the excuses for the constant over half way line losing possession cheaply. Check your eyes drog because this is abysmal mate.
The two lads I had season tickets with and then went to games with will not be renewing this year. They’ve fallen out of love with football and attending feeling like a chore. None of us are impressed with Jon Useless by the way, a horrific appointment who’s taking us down.

we Lined up the wrong man which displays all the signs of those at Ewood who are out of there depth. Pay monkeys you get peanuts.

John seems a nice guy but the facts are he’s a chavvy cap wearing second rate coach who does not belong at this level as the results clearly show. He’s now the worst coach we’ve had in 160 years of operating. He will take us down as he’s not got the brains to change or tweak things, he’s an excuse pun ridden sheep who’s clinging to this role like a stag beetle.

That’s your view fair enough. I personally don’t believe that we could be that organised and prepared. Recent club activity supports this theory.

That’s agreeable but Jon Useless? Was that the best? What was the interview or selection process about? Surely we took a consolidated approach for the best candidate given our disposition and now rumoured unharmony?

If your happy with that your easily pleased. We didn’t turn up in the first half for Christ sake and had a spell in the second half for the last half hour whereby we seemed to mull around. I agree but for every action wrong is a corrective formula. When are we going to decide we got it wrong with Useless? That should be Monday IMO
