Can't say I'm that bothered about leaving this competition at all..... however I AM bothered about another injury time goal for the opposition. A bad habit to get into.

Man Utd out. Jones missed his penalty.

Another late goal is concerning . I’m not sure if we have a leader , an organiser , a talker amongst our defenders . An experienced centre half would be a useful addition in the next transfer window

Sounds like Rovers competed tonight . Pulling it back from 2-0 to 2-2 shows character and team spirit . Won’t lose any sleep over this result . Rovers regroup and beat Forest on Saturday and we’ll have had a good September .

Thanks for the highlights link WB , pale blue & white Rovers kit, which I like , looks even better with white socks .

Lenihan gripped his shirt and the player threw himself to the ground. Cheating but not in respect of Lenihans stupidity.

What the hell Willams was thinking about to simply pick the ball up in open play and as the last man!? Beggars belief and then to moan about the red card afterwards takes the bloody biscuit!

What the hell was that picking up the ball, just boot it. Was that a straight red, deserves two reds for that madness.

Unfathomable. Certainly one of the strangest sendings off that I have seen. A true moment of madness! Even dafter to moan about it. He's not been angling for a day off to go on his mates stag do or similar is he? Only thing I can think is that there was a whistle from the crowd.

I'm keen to know how Rodwell played. I saw him make as powerful run followed by a good pass in those highlights. I have hopes that he will be good for Rovers. I know we were asked to give him time but I've seen nothing yet from Brereton. I hope he proves good in the end. That was as huge amount of dosh for Rovers.

A few mixed feelings especially considering the ones who trekked down there. It's nice to have a run in this comp but it does tend to get in the way of more important things sometimes. I enjoy going to the
home games in it usually because it's cheap, no real pressure and you get to see a few different players selected.

No big drama going out early this time it'll serve us well down the line hopefully although the second choice players will be a bit gutted as it usually gives them some game time which is important. Losing narrowly away at a Prem side can't be held against them too much though.
