Interesting aside to Burnley's 0-0 draw at reading today. If the dingles had any ambition of setting a championship record points total it fizzled out today.

Ho Ho! What do they say about 'what goes around, comes around'?
Huddersfield whinging now about just promoted Burnley making SIX changes v relegation rival Reading. Reading of course went onto gain a valuable point. BUT just 6-7 years ago Huddersfield under Wagner made 10 bloody changes against our relegation rivals Birmingham managed then by cockney souvenir Harry Redknapp. Birmingham won and Ultimately we were relegated with 51 points! I think it was a record.
I wrote a number of emails to the efl about Huddersfield playing a weakened team and got
nowhere except being advised that it is not the Efl's position to decide what is or isn't a weak team. I was advised that it was on the agenda for the Efl conference in Portugal but that was that and we were relegated.🤬

btw anybody recall that season when loanee Sam Gallagher gave the ball away needlessly in the dying seconds v pne at Ewood only for the nobbers to race up the other end and equalise? So similar to hedges bloody aberration last night! 🤬 anybody know what he was trying to do cos I'm bloody flummoxed.

How good is Grant Hanley? Sine he got injured against us Norwich have absolutely bombed with just 2 points out of 12 including a 5 goal thumping at boro.

OOOps... dodgy pen and it's 1-0 to WBA at HT and we're now 8th.

Bloody hell! Now it's 1-2 for Sunderland and we're still 8th as they now take wbas place above us. Could do with a West Brom equaliser in the next 5 mins.

And there it is 1-2 and us down to 8th! What a division this is!

Finished 3-2 to Millwall. They now have only us left to play and are three points ahead of us with a better goal difference.
Coventry have Birmingham at home and Boro away which both look difficult. Sunderland have Watford at home and Preston away, hmm I seem to remember Preston screwing up our promotion aspirations a while back by not beating a rival of ours? Four teams going for two places with Brom outsiders. It’s still on but we can’t screw up on Monday against Luton. Why do we always do things the hard way? 🤣

65 minutes and Coventry level the scores at 1-1 in the most lucrative single football match in the world!

Luton win 6-5 after extra time and penalties. So amari bell is now playing for a premier league club!😖

Well he bought him so it say's that he can spot a player. In fairness Bell didn't seem very suited to our passing play.

Multiple balls around the pitch to speed play up and this......"Another move which will have an impact for the opponents of Rovers and North End will be the banning of the use of towels to dry footballs during matches, or obtaining items from the crowd to do so. They are often used by players before long throw-ins are launched into an opposition's penalty area in a bid for better grip and therefore the ball travelling a further distance than if it were wet. "

Good moves. Although it also needs to come with a different attitude from Championship referees. They seem constantly happy to let time wasting go, I often wonder if its so they can get a rest due to their own poor fitness.

Wasn't long since that reading were playing the billy big times in the championship. Now they are in league one and facing a winding up order.

Thank goodness that the rovers now appear to be a well managed club with a top academy supplying a production line of talent. Dunno who is really steering the ship but if it's Steve Waggot then fair play to him.
