Lifted from 'The Week' magazine this fact surprised me!
"Only 11% of British adults cook the majority of their meals from scratch. The remaining 89% mainly rely on takeaways or ready meals!"
Difficult to believe until one considers the amounts of obese people created by eating fast foods full of fat, starch, salt and sugar. Personally I'm very surprised many can actually afford it! Home cooking being much cheaper imo.

Any many will complain that they don’t have time to cook, whilst they while their time away on a mobile phone and / or tablet. No wonder this country, the USA, even France is full off fat barstewards - myself excepted.

We aren't talking red indians either! So when anyone says 'they can't lie straight in bed that lot' why do they frequently receive accusations of racism? The stats now back them up.

Don't know where to put this so here'll do.
Just been doing a spot of Christmas shopping for drinkipoos. Almost always start at Waitrose for spirits etc so imagine my disbelief turning to anger to find that the soft southern pooftahs who manage the company don't stock Benedictine! The poor Waitrose chap manning the wines and spirits shelves said 'That's the fourth time I've been asked for Benedictine this morning!.... I shouldn't really tell you this but Sainsbury's up the road stock it'.
Must say on reflection that I'm not entirely surprised as finding 'Bene' in a pub south of Birmingham is like looking for hen's teeth, but if the North are really going to accept Boris then making at a law that every pub and supermarket in the land stocks Bene is is something that he really needs to prioritise!
