I wouldn't want Dyche here and I think people need to take a massive step back and would Dyche actually be a good fit for the club. At Rovers developing young players and bringing through players from our Academy is major part of our football and transfer strategy here. What players has Dyche brought through their? anyone? When you’ve got a poorly supported, small town , unfashionable club up to the Premier League twice , probably pulling in circa half to three quarters of a billion pounds , he’d be a fantastic fit for any Championship club , Rovers included .

Got to say I’m not a student of Burnley’s youth policy under Dyche , but didn’t that O’Neill bloke , who came on against Norwich , come up through their youth scheme after being released by United ?

He has a similar style to Big Sam , pragmatic , realistic and very effective. However the entitled fans amongst our modest support thought we should be playing like Barcelona and wanted him out . The rest is history .

If he doesn’t come to the Rovers , which he won’t , I’d rather he got the England job , than take another underachieving club into the’ promised land ‘

As I said earlier I just hope that lot haven’t got Big Sam lined up .

I reckon Dyche has pulled a fast one here. If they’ve paid his contract up in full then he doesn’t need to work again (if at all) until September 2024. It’s clear major investment is needed but there is no money for it as the debt needs paying every month. He knows this and that it is a futile battle so rather can shoulder the blame for their plummet through the divisions he’s got out now.
A b***ley fan I know reckons they are getting Chris Wilder from Boro and that next year Weghorst will be the next Mitrovic in the championship.


All I want is six points against them if we don’t go up.

If they manage to stay up then they face a massive job replacing all of the out of contract players and even more investment buying new ones and I’m not convinced that ALK will put much in. I would argue also that the three clubs likely coming up, Fulham Bournemouth and Forest are all better than them. Next season they would face a relegation battle from the outset but this time without Dyche. I’d love to see them getting hammered every week.

However I still believe that the premier league won’t allow Everton to be relegated.
