If they manage to stay up then they face a massive job replacing all of the out of contract players and even more investment buying new ones and I’m not convinced that ALK will put much in. I would argue also that the three clubs likely coming up, Fulham Bournemouth and Forest are all better than them. Next season they would face a relegation battle from the outset but this time without Dyche. I’d love to see them getting hammered every week.

However I still believe that the premier league won’t allow Everton to be relegated.
Hope springs eternal!

Big mistake imo. Typical yankee thinking. Rooney wont attract better players..... money does that.

Looking like Leeds for the drop now. Burnley are ahead of them whilst they await Man City.

What a master stroke sacking the going stale yet stable Dyche was. 10 points from 12 with the 'new manager' bounce.

To add, Everton have some easily winnable games in their last few.

He was lucky just like Coyle was for them. Let’s see which club wants him then eh?

I’m no financial guru but this sounds good news whether that lot get relegated or not . Did the financial backers not realise they were buying an unfashionable club , with poor support and no commercial potential ?

“The accounts also state that following the end of the reporting period, Burnley advanced £10m to a "fellow group company".”

In other words asset stripping, this is going to be hilarious.

Will Leeds even get another point? They seem to be self imploding . . .

Personally I wanted to see Everton go down. They are the poor man's glory hunter club in that they never win anything yet at the same time are one of only a handful of teams that have never been relegated from the Premier League. Heck!, even Man City have been a 3rd Division club during EPL times.

There’s a strong argument on Merseyside that claims Everton would have had a good shot at the European Cup were it not for the English clubs European ban caused by the cheeky Scouse victims.

LUFC... The perils of sacking a decent manager eh? Some might call it karma. Not all new managers are an improvement on the previous one are they? I wonder how much experience of the championship Jesse Marsche has? 🤔🤭
It's a gamble though cos it seems to have worked at Burnley in the short term but of course Burnley were in desperately deep shit whilst lufc weren't.
'Be careful what you wish for' might be worth considering. Food for thought for the venkys I'd suggest..... and also perhaps for a few this side of accy too.

I reckon b***ley won’t get another point but Leeds will draw at Brentford on the last day to stay up. That will be achieved with the risk of their shiny new stadium being destroyed by the Yorkshire hordes though.
