Re:VAR / offside rules.
I've long held that the basis for offside should be the players shorts as standing foot and direction of running puts a massive skew on any decision. If standing foot is to be taken BB is ONside by about 2ft, if it's head then BB is OFFside by about 2ft. Shorts look level to me.
In my day if I'd been running the line I would NOT have given that offside.

That's odd because when anyone goes through a turnstile the category of ST decrees the colour of the indicator light which comes on. If someone doesn't look Over 65 or a junior then they should be stopped and questioned.

This is why I don't go much anymore. I was brought up to get behind Rovers, be the 12th man, the fans and players are one team and our support helps them win. I genuinely believe all that, football is a confidence sport and whoever gained confidence by being abused?

I've been at games where I'm trying to start songs whilst moaning idiots are trying to shout abuse at our players over the top of me. That's the only place I sit anymore if I do go to games. Gone are the days of the back row of that top right corner of the BBE.

Only trouble with the JWU is you get reduced support alongside the reduced moaning. For 1.5 great years under Big Sam there was the magic combo in the DE, singing throughout regardless of the score.

But yeah it's still better in the JW than listening to the braindead idiots.
