The loss of Chapman is a major blow and particularly for home matches when we now expect him to be a starter. Fleetwood's goals record reveals that they have scored 6 more than us to date but let in 13 more, suggesting that they will have to be watched but may not be too strong defensively. After that I have to admit that I know nothing about them so whether they are vulnerable in the air / down the flanks / in goal and whether they are strong on set pieces or rely more on counter attacks. All of a sudden though we have lost a number of key players in Samuel, Bennett and Chapman to go with the long standing blow of losing Lenihan on the 1st match of the season. These 4 aren't 'random' squad losses as all would be in the top half of the team standings in my book (along with Smallwood, Dack and Mulgrew). I just hope that the pace and invention shown against Pompey will not evaporate to be replaced by the ponderous and slow build up play which our lot appear to have a tendency to rely on at every opportunity. I'm not feeling too confident that it won't at this stage.
