Aah, no I hadn’t. I remember Bensons though for some reason. XL ring a bell too.

Now I might be wrong so someone older needs to remind me but wasn't XL on the Rishy crisp packet?

And there it is 'Rishy XL'! My memories still OK though WB. On second thoughts though maybe it's not cos I thought Rishy had been sold before all those 'modern' flavours were invented.

IMO nobody has found a flavour that holds a candle to plain ready salted crisps. Although I am told they are Walkers, Lays crisps abroad always seem to taste better than Walkers do here.

Fully agree Al, whole meal bread butties with Philadelphia cheese and Walkers plain crisps on to add a bit of crunch. Sheer perfection.

I do prefer Walkers cheese and onion to add to a cheese and crisp butty tbh.

I'd wager there is more chance of em shutting theatres and pubs than opening football grounds. Especially so given the behaviour of students and those congregating in Liverpool recently. I'd imagine the occasional theatre goer will accept and embrace the social distancing rules whilst the football supporter will elect to ignore them.

And that unfortunately is the crux of the matter. You may however go and watch AFC DARWEN and have a few pints.

Just as an aside, I've come around to the probability that all this taking the knee would have been stopped by now in a normal season where crowds were allowed in. Enough would be enough, it's tedious, it's completely gone OTT and gives out an awful message to boot. I think a chorus of booing would by now be greeting the practice every week and at every ground.

After today's announcement on the tier system, our away match at Brentford on 5th Dec will be played in front of 2,000 of their fans.
None of our fans are allowed to go down and we won't have any fans at our home games.

I know it's only 2,000 in a large stadium but hardly a level playing field any more is it?

There should be a temporary arrangement where the gate receipts are split 50:50 although I'd assume most of these will all be ST holders. btw that's a headache in itself for clubs in deciding who can go and who can't.
