The audio comes slightly before the visuals which completely ruins it. . Such an easy thing for them to fix too. Grrrrr!
Anyway, Lancs had a good win yesterday ...eventually, after doing the usual thing of letting the tail pile up runs.. .
I heard some fancy us for the title this year . . Hmmm! Can hardly believe a decade has already passed since the last one.

The only issue , like Parkinson , are his performances down to the poor standard of County Cricket and will he get found out at Test level ?

Lancs cruising to victory . Glos 60 odd for 3 , still over 230 to get to avoid an innings defeat . A wicket each for Anderson , Mahmood and Hassan . That’s quite a pace attack , probably too good for County batsmen

Lancashire have played very well in this game. I watched some of it live. Parkinson should be in the England next test team aswell as Josh Bohannan aswell at 3. Root back to 4 with Stokes and Bairstow at 5 and 6.
Stokes should be name Test captain shortly. Who will be Test Coach I don't know but someone like Kirsten or Ford seems to the front runners.

Ben Stokes will this week be confirmed as England Test captain after his appointment was ratified by new managing director Rob Key on Tuesday. He replaces Joe Root in the role.
Hmmm..... Stokes is probably the best / most imp player in the squad and I never really go along with making the best player the Captain. The extra responsibility and concentration frequently damages their game. I'm rather hoping Root can go to greater things without the burden of Captaincy. Only time will tell I suppose.

Stokes captaincy confirmed . I think it’s more a question of England having no other choice , than the right choice . His job is to revive the England test team following the shameful performances in Australia and West Indies . Let’s hope it doesn’t affect his own performance. Good luck Ben .
Ideally Justin Langer can be persuaded to take up the coaching job , if not him then Gary Kirsten .

Langer won't be appoint as next England coach.
I think Graham Ford might be the right man for the test head coach whilst someone like Collingwood or Katich for the one day team
For me, Stokes is the right and correct choice as Test Captain

Interesting contender with lots of Test playing experience. The question to him , like all potential England coaches is can he make a lot from not very much .
A bit like the Rovers job , difficult to turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse .

Fascinating appointment, left field but very encouraging. The way NZ has risen to number one in the world is a credit to their way of doing things . Hopefully McCullum can replicate their formula in English cricket.
I’m not sure what influence Rob Key had in this appointment but this is brave and forward thinking
