btw 'er indoors gave up wine for Lent this year ..... Whereas I gave up Lent years ago.

Aerating makes the wine softer and seem a couple of years older.

I'm no connoisseur Dave. I just open the bottle a couple of hours before I drink it and leave it somewhere at room temperature.

I'm currently drinking a craft IPA from WA called Sleeping Giant by a brewer called Gage Roads 5.4%. A nice tasting drop it is too.
Others that I like are Hop Thief from James Squire and an American style Pale Ale from 4 Pines. 4 Pines also do a great Extra Special Bitter.

Hi All. SKH here, part of the mass bannings on brfcc a few weeks ago, except in my case it was totally deserved! Anyway, Blackburner(ish), love playing and watching footy, hate the chicken…pluckers (are you allowed to swear on here?). As I tend to do stuff most evenings, my activity on these things is directly related to my willingness to risk getting sacked :)

Deserved? I can't comment on that but I'd wager pressing the red button against your name would still be enough to give certain 'members' wet dreams for a week or two.

Ha I dunno Gord, did totally lose the plot that day for some reason. Gotta credit Jim on his WUM abilities, got me in the end. It's funny watching him bicker with his former allies now we've all left, the guy must have been the inspiration for the phrase "can start an argument in an empty room".

The way to wind Jim up was to reply with calm, short and on the money posts, it got him nearly every time :)

Rovers fan forever. First game back in the mid-70's. Season ticket holder for 25 of those years, currently not watching due to the Venky business master class.

Member on BRFCS as OOJW. Nice to see some of those posters on here. Foolishly thought the registration required my own name. Would like to change to OOJW if that is possible and someone can advise me how.
