JDT was very good at promoting JDT and his kamikaze style of football.

2-0 down by at Burnley and him laughing his Smurf like head off at Burnley was enough for me. He is history; goodbye and don’t come back.

Tomasson publicly admitted that he offered to leave in summer. You don't do that unless you are desperate to leave a situation that you hate, or you have something else lined up and verbally agreed.

I suspect Tomasson started to plan his exit in January last year when the transfer window unfolded to his dislike. I would even go as far as saying the troubles were visible in the very first transfer window when he drew a clear line of responsibility between himself and "Ask Gregg". It never, for a single moment, felt that there was any harmony between him and his superiors, aside from when Gregg first showed him around the training ground on his very first day. Thereafter, it always felt like pure tension and discord.

I cannot possibly answer that question. He was a good coach though, he had us playing some great attacking football.

He did but we were losing every week once the opposition sussed us. The trick must be somewhere in the middle of flair and pragmatism.

Mowbray had two strikers he doubled 13 million on and a wage bill of 26.5 million per annum. JDT had neither of that and still achieve what Mowbray did with half the wage bill.
