Nah anybody decent will only be in the team for half a season before being sold to a bigger club.Go and watch the Academy, the next generation will be there.

I’m trying to think of a reason not to agree with that post. But don’t think I can! It’s now 8 games and zero wins for JE.
struggling to think of any EFL manager with an equally abysmal record.
he needs to go this week
2.25 years left on his contract. No chance. It’s now 8 games and zero wins for JE.

Errrr how do o break this to you. Football contracts are the same as every other employment contract and he will have a probation period. Therefore it’s usually cheaper to dispense that way.2.25 years left on his contract. No chance.

He has not found the dressing room yet because I get the feeling the players are still shell shocked after the last transfer window and JDTs exit from the club. The question is if he can find it before the end of the season ,which I really hope he can, because otherwise we might have to find it in League 1 with someone else.Notice it’s after JDT and not Eustace a record.
there is a rot at this club be under no illusion about that. It’s a poor quality team but if JDT had lost the dressing room as some suspect well JE has never found it has he? It’s a shame because he’s a top bloke, but all this waffle about togetherness needs to stop.
Bit unfair imoHe has not found the dressing room yet because I get the feeling the players are still shell shocked after the last transfer window and JDTs exit from the club. I think this will be my last comparison with JDT for a while because there is no point looking back on a manager who clearly didn't have an interest to stay with us or sort out the problems with the team he had.
I like Broughton but surely his silence is like gardening leave. Then what’s left?Bit unfair imo
We have no idea what JDT was promised
Everyone has a right to leave a job they are not happy in. Football managers are no different to the rest of us - the only difference is the money involved and the contract terms
Let's see what Broughton has to say - it might (although I doubt it will) give us some insight into what has been happening
One thing is certain - we have managed to fuck three consecutive windows up - I would be super pissed if I was expected to produce results but wasn't given the tools I had been assured would be supplied.
None of those players have an emotional involvement in Rovers (maybe Wharton and those through the ranks are exceptions) they are all doing a job and will be gone in a heart beat if the offer is right. Being stuck somewhere you don't want to be is going to lower productivity
And still, these clueless clowns are working within the club. I wonder how the board meetings are? Venkys must be as clueless as the ones sitting in higher level management at Blackburn Rovers. One thing is certain - we have managed to fuck three consecutive windows up - I would be super pissed if I was expected to produce results but wasn't given the tools I had been assured would be supplied.
That's kind of what I'm saying.I like Broughton but surely his silence is like gardening leave. Then what’s left?
Excellent post and you’ve hit the nail on the head. Venkys out.Bit unfair imo

Bounce?Could this be the worst new manager bounce in history?
A contract for a length of time is just that. It's different to regular employment and breaking a contract involves reparations from the party that broke it. Tomassons efforts to get out of his contract were reprehensible imo and could lead us to league 1 oblivion.Bit unfair imo
