Tony Sewell has his honorary degree withdrawn by Nottingham University because he produced a report that concluded Britain wasn’t an institutionally racist country and that our multi-racial society is a model to the world , which apparently, to the left wing academic wokerati , is politically controversial

Obviously it didn’t suit the race baiters on the left who revel in causing division . Universities are a poisonous tentacle of left wing activism . Labour MPs also lambasted the report when it was published in 2019 . It doesn’t suit them that Britain isn’t such a bad place to live for ethnic minorities . They love to create victimhood and grievance , it’s where they harvest many of their votes .

Hopefully the government institute in full the recommendations of the Sewell report and at the same time Tony tells Nottingham to stick their honorary degree where the sun doesn’ t shine

Bit late to the thread, but what really winds me up about that is yet again (just like ending global slavery) we seem to be the only country prepared to respond to an international crisis, the Russia-Ukraine war, in a completely selfless manner.

France and Germany refuse to cut back on Russian energy, Biden refuses to visit Kyiv, and I'm sure we're contributing by far the most in weapons per GDP.
