Now I have to say this individual would never have been considered for any Dr Who before it was cancelled in 1989. His cv must contain any number of issues which would make him 'unsuitable' for a leading role in a childrens tv programme.
Of course after a woman we all knew that the new Doctor would likely be a bame, but an obvious homosexual famous for his role in something called Sex Education should have ruled him right out of the role. His selection (and particularly with the assistance of some homosexual script writer) is just a poke in the eye to parents across the land. There seems an obvious plot to set up all manner of weird individuals which we would rather protect our children from into actual role models.
Can no one stop this helter skelter journey by the bbc, educationalists etc to rob our children of their innocence?
I gave up watching dr who years ago as every attempt was being made to offend from the odious captain jack to the woman from Huddersfield but this is the first time that I really do hope the Daleks succeed in their mission to exterminate the good doctor. Being time travellers they obviously managed to look into the future and see the way the err.... 'hero' was going to be portrayed!
The star of Netflix's Sex Education will replace Jodie Whittaker in the BBC science fiction show.
