God help the neighbours!!

Takes me back to buying my daughter a set of drums for Christmas and taking her for drum lessons every Tuesday night for ages down at a studio ion the Capitol Centre. Fortunately we don't have any neighbours.
She'd got quite good over the next 3-3 years and played on the BwD U18's band run from St Bede's when just as i thought she should be looking at getting in a start up band she gave up and I don't think has ever picked up a drum stick again. Worst bit is carting all that bloody kit about.... no wonder most parents elect to buy their kids Recorders!

Watched 'King of Thieves last night with the all star British cast comprising Michael Caine, Tom Courtney, Michael Gambon, Ray Winston and Jim Broadbent. Anyway the film began with this... (318) SMALL FACES-WHATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT IT.mpg - YouTube another example of the quality of the teenage mods the Small Faces and the amazingly mature vocals of the then 18 year old Steve Marriot.

Tonights music comes from Brendan Perry´s solo album Eye of the Hunter. He is one of my favorite singers of all time i have to say nowadays. I knew the Dead Can Dance albums with Lisa Gerrard but when I saw him live with his solo stuff in Helsinki several years ago i was really impressed with his own vocals.
