Bumble bees out and about looking for pollen Sunday and Monday and last night a large hedgehog had woken up from hibernation and was ambling across my lawn, no doubt hungry as a wolf and looking for slugs and worms.

There’s a magnificent Blackbird which daily does a dusk musical performance near my house. Absolutely enthralling to listen to.

Meant to post this in the middle of February. Pictured in goosnargh. Not only are the daffs early but one or two of them are finished before the snowdrops!!!!

Last night just after midnight in the garden my dog was doing her special hedgehog bark (she's obviously had one in her mouth in the past and daren't repeat the exercise). Sure enough a hedgehog was up and about looking for slugs and worms. Must say I've never seen one before April in the past, and I thought that was early.
Somethings going all wrong.
