In my school days if that piece of work had had an AMDG in the margin , it would have been an absolute banker for the annual College magazine - you were more than likely to be Oxbridge bound if you achieved that honour . Thanks for posting.

I heard my first drumming of the season by a GS Woodpecker today.

I've not heard em drumming but I get a number of those taking my peanuts. They are the top of the pecking order and when they have had their fill the nuthatches move in. Only when they are done can the little coal and blue tits seize their chance.
