I still cannot believe the ott optimusm pre . season ...a team on the downward spiral .shit owners and dillusional fans ...there is no way this team with this ownership is going anywhere but non league...what will change the passiveness of our fans
Indeed. Granted I've been more confident (with Venkys 12 months not worrying about relegation or admin is like a honeymoon period) of a promotion challenge but what if the club finishes outside the top 2? They won't spend as much next summer without promotion I'm damn sure of that. That was a strong possibility before in my view and it damn sure is now.

No, I couldn't understand the optimism either. I've long since given up hope.

Well that was shite. Set up all wrong with defenders out wide and a single isolated striker. I think we had two shots on target. Beaten by a motivated fit organised side.

You think you are low and down we keep going.

I'm on holiday so didn't go Chor , but you've nailed it in one . A "motivated ,fit , organised side " Just as those who went last week said Southend were like .

I haven't seen a Rovers team since Big Sam left have even one of those characteristics, let alone all three .

"Not fit to wear the shirt" chanted apparently. Does seem like Mowbray was conveniently omitted though as far as live crowd are concerned. I guess he's a "nice guy" though its the only qualification needed to get a job at Ewood in many fans eyes.
Mowbray got loads of abuse from the JW Upper. And so he should, he hardly watched the game for the last 15 mins as he was looking at his feet. I could set up a team bettter than that donkey.

Disgraceful defence..dunno wtf raya was playing at ! My man Williams was shocking..
Funny to hear Raya has been poor from quite a few fans now. The fan criticism of Steele was way OTT from what I saw of him last season. Now he's playing for Sunderland and we're stuck with the consistently over-rated quality of youth.

Absolutely pissed off. For the first 15 minutes I thought we were doing OK but we just didn't make any chances, then Ward missed the ball and gave them the first. Next a penalty that some referees don't give. Mulgrew did get the ball but it was a tackle from behind. Some give them, some don't and what Raya was doing for the third God only knows. Absolute rank defending from the lot.
Both full backs were awful. I've never rated Williams and after giving Nyame the benefit of the doubt I have now come to the conclusion that either he is not ready or never will be. Caddis was a waste of a shirt playing as a winger when we have proper wingers warming the bench and after watching Graham stroll about the park it is probably time he was put out grass. You can't carry that many players and something has to be done and quickly.
Thankfully I've got a ticket for the Headingly test match for the day of the next home match so I'll be spared that at least.

Graham was a disgrace upfront - can't jump, can't head and saunters like a training match.
Mulgrew looks knackered and disinterested......he needs to be put to grass.
Nyambe.....he reminds me of a rabbit in headlights, his confidence is gone.
Whittingham.......a powder puff with no physical strength whatsoever.
Smallwood.....can't pass.

As for TM......he has us playing tippy tappy at the back, we have no movement off the ball, and we are set up like a bunch of schoolies.

It was chanted very loudly.

Sounds like we beat ourselves today, TM should hang his head 7 at the back at home? What were you thinking! I hope this ends his fascination with an alien formation and he starts playing to attack, not defend. This league is a battle, it always has been and always will be, be fit, be up for it and you will do well ala Rochdale. It really makes me sad when people doing a job most would grave, earning money for very little effort (they don't do 40 hours a week) can't even be bothered to try, to try FFS. Tonys after match comments worry me, it's not the formation as this displays a lack of insight to ones self as that should be the first port of call after disaster. I felt he blew us staying up last year and if he doesn't get this league after Coventry then we should be worried as we sure as hell cannot afford to do a Charlton and hang around here for long, god forbid we do a pompey.

Yes , muchas disculpas Vinjay , for the appalling sentence construction .

I'll blame it on the sun ,the Sagres and the sh** start to the season :(

A bit of alliteration to hopefully show my grammar school education wasn't a complete washout !

Think it was more in reference to Southend's drubbing today. Which I suppose indicates either Southend had a rare bad day at the office or the fans excusing our defeat to them last week were seriously overplaying how good they are.

Lose at Bradford and then against B***ley and that could well be the end of Mowbray.

Why does every recent new season seem like Groundhog Day?
Lose
Hope it's a one off
Lose again
Lose again
Wonder how long the manager has before he's potted
People suggest alternative managers
Endure more poor results.
Why can't we just grab the division by the balls and have a flier for once??

We need a ball grabber. Someone with nuts, like Flitty, Andy Todd, Glen Keeley or Kevin Moran. What have we got - puff ball Whittingham and soft arse Graham.
