Not the best away record that's for sure. They can score away from home but they do leak quite a few too. As we all know to our chagrin the teams nearest the bottom give us most trouble. Say's a lot about starting attitude imo. Nowts won till it's won!

It appears the Oldham fans see the Rovers as big time rivals . Where do they get that from ? They had their day in the sun under Joe Royle in the 90s , but apart from that , do they have any history of achievement ? I’ve always regarded them as being “ not quite as bad as Rochdale “

They’ve sold nearly 2,000 tickets , which to be fair is a really good effort , is that just short of half their home average ? I hope they all have a good day out and enjoy the Premier League facilities on offer.

PS I do remember going to Oldham in a drunken haze many years ago . For some reason one of our lot brought a dead rabbit with him . Went into the Chaddy End with quite a number of other Rovers fans. The only time I’ve ever done that - must have been Dutch courage . There was a bit of trouble & the police escorted us round the perimeter to the other end . Rovers lost 5-0 that day and Fazackerley got sent off - I think .

The correct attitude needs to be 'this lot beat us quite easily a few months back. We underestimated them them but today we need to respect them , we need the right attitude from the start and we need revenge!'

When Tony Mowbray respects teams he tends to go all defensive and it's the wrong approach in my opinion. We are far better than them and we need to show them that by attacking from the start. Playing Conway from the start is a negative. We all know he is past influencing the game but is possibly OK to put on if one of your starters tires badly or is injured late on.
