What are the advertising agency supposed to do? Tell them that the army is rubbish and just for losers? As far as I am concerned the army is and has been fantastic for many faced with a scrapheap challenge after leaving school.
I wonder what these plonkers would say if the govt said we're not going to spend another penny on advertising we'll just re-introduce compulsory National Service and if that isn't enough to fill the ranks of the regular army then conscription starting from the ranks of the unemployed, the homeless and the benefit brigade.

However am I alone in believing that there are too many Professors these days? Years ago a Professor was a rare bird indeed, with most people never even meeting one but now the buggers are popping up all over the press and media. Is this another unwanted by-product of our commercially orientated and consequently dumbed down education system or a Hollywood influenced result of Eddie Murphy's 'Nutty Professor'?

I don't subscribe to the Times so I can't read the full account but Trevor Phillips appears to have had a 'road to Damascus' defining moment somewhere along his career path. Years ago he was all over the press and media protesting that the entire nation is racist etc but now he appears to have undergone some kind of Scrooge like experience where he's had his feet held to the flames by ghosts of past, present and future. Or have I missed something?
