One ugly woman eh? Desperately in need of a regular appointment at the hairdressers and lessons in the application of cosmetics. Another educated at Oxford who doesn't know which side her bread is buttered on.

The next election is in the bag, Labour cannot win it's only the Conservatives that can lose it....... and don't write that off either!
The left has its tentacles firmly around the civil service , televised media, academia and other quangos/institutions . Reading an article the other day which quoted the Italian Marxist political scientist Antonio Gramsci who argued that the Left did not have to win election after election, but only needed to take over the key institutions and then indoctrinate and brainwash the people . How else do you explain that one third of the electorate voted for a party led by a pro -IRA / Hamas / Hezbollah , anti - Semite Marxist ?

See the school assignment below - I’m sure the dear leader would approve

Any news on Benjy’s whereabouts ?

The unlikable Lady Nugee, the Right Honourable, sneering and condescending MP for Islington South, has thrown her peacock feather fascinator in to the ring to become the leader of the Labour Party: https://www.bbc.com/news/election-2019-50834286

The same Lady Nugee who contemptuously posted a picture of a house displaying a flag of England with a white van parked beneath it, and who was sacked by Ed Milliband into the bargain. The same Lady Nugee who recently threatened to indulge in the rich man's sport of libel litigation against the, er likable, ex-Labour MP Caroline Flint, despite the latter just losing her livelihood. The same etc. who infamously asked leave voters if they only voted Brexit "to take their next door neighbour’s job away?”

That should get those 'thick' northern leave voters flocking back to her party in droves. Not!

Labour has revealed 24000 new members to swell the membership of what is already claimed to be "the biggest political party in europe" since the general election! Their membership now numbers over 500,000. What the labour hierarchy struggle to realise is that at less than a fiver to join there are thousands of their members who are deep blue Tories who joined a few years ago with the sole intention of voting for Jeremy Corby!
If Diane Abbott decides to throw her hat in the ring I'll be joining up immediately ..... if not sooner! :D

No real surprise that the teaching 'profession' are heavily Labour voting but it needs addressing. No idea how this could be done but it goes a long way to explaining why so many younger voters vote Labour and also why Labour would like to lower the voting age.

Influencing young and impressionable minds is a tactic used by religions the world over. None more so that Islam at present and christianity in recent history. We all know how that can result and how dangerous it can be too.

That probably explains why without a few exceptions I have genuinely always hated teachers.

I can explain it more in terms of the amount of homework they made me do than their politics!

Still, no matter how traditional is a person's allegiance to the Labour Party surely nobody with half an ounce of grey matter (and in the case of teachers, responsibility) should bring themselves to seek to elect as our PM a known terrorist sympathiser, a racist, a leader who is only supported by 20% of his fellow MP's and someone with a Shadow Cabinet that contains the likes of Raynor, Thornberry and Abbot ffs!

Is anyone just basking in the eerie silence at the moment? For the first time in 2-3 decades, the left has just completely shut up. Given the cacophonous din they've been making since about 2015, it's an amazing effect.

It won't last of course but for now it's that strange feeling that the bullies have finally buggered off and there's an empty, pristine football pitch to go play on. It almost feels like Johnson is stood there with the ball shouting come on everyone!

The likes of Soubry got what they deserved . However I have a great deal of sympathy for Luciana Berger and other Labour MPs who were viciously hounded out of a party that is rotten from top to bottom with hate and racism. As a number of their ex MPs have said since the election, Momentum Labour is a nasty party .

The fact that 10 million people chose to ignore the elephant in the room and vote for such an obnoxious cult , on the basis they would benefit from lots and lots of ‘free’ stuff , is for their part self centred and for the rest of this decent and tolerant country , alarming .

The FPTP voting system is frequently criticised , but as the general election results showed , it did keep the extreme far left and rabid nationalist parties from having any real influence in our parliament and the laws that govern us .

Old Benjamin is still missing though. Must be quite a few bluebottles buzzing around in his house by now. o_O

If Labour (or the Conservatives) are paying attention, they’d re-brand themselves the party of working people, the wage earners. It doesn’t matter if you earn 1,000/hour or 10/hour, you are a wage earner. Any party that focuses on wage earners will do well. Those that focus on investors or benefit recipients, not so much.

Doubt it. Momentum won't allow it. They've been attempting to get rid of all the good ones since 224/6/2016 when Corbyn received a massive voter of no confidence in him by the parliamentary Labour Party.

I don't expect to see a Labour government for the foreseeable future. They have failed to remove the main reason why they were so unpopular with the electorate, Corbyn, so it's quite plain that they have learnt nothing. Momentum and the far left run that party now and this country is and will always be a right of centre population. The bitter fools that attempt to defend them are living in the past and have no place in this great countries future.
