btw..... Dunno what politics that Michelle Dewberry stands for as an Independent and I don't really care... but she'd get my vote.;)

Always liked Paul Mason, good working class bloke from Leigh, knows what its like to be Northern and ignored by Tories. But he did himself no favors during that interview, you could tell by his embarrassed look that he'd over stepped the mark during the VT and Michelle correctly called him out and he had nowhere to go.

His point about evidence was not misplaced, the labour party are accused of all sorts without much evidence to support the claims, but in this case he was out of order, her evidence was first hand, and he got told in no uncertain terms by Michelle, good on her!

Why though do you elect to highlight the recent episode in NZ when I'd imagine that lady's grief would have been matched by very many people involved or affected by 9/11 / 7/7 / 07 / Nice / Paris / Manchester / Berlin / Sydney / Madrid etc etc. The hard edged intolerance of Islam v Christianity. Norways Breivit and this chap in NZ proving that it's not all one way of course.

The Russians reacted strongly with Putin's own brand of negotiations when Chechen rebels took over the school in Beslan in 2004. In a violent attack the Russian troops with bombs and assault weapons killed 300 hostages as they summarily executed the terrorists without trial. The deaths of their own students and teachers simply being deemed collateral damage. Now I'm no student of Russian affairs but it does seem that their extreme actions have had a positive effect, if you are Russian that is. Unless I have missed something it doesn't appear that there are many 3rd world muslim migrants attempting to cross their borders!

As for the Chinese govt. Xi's answer is to incarcerate muslims in detention camps and force them to shave their beards off, eat pork and drink alcohol whilst the practice of giving their children islamic names has been outlawed. Current estimates suggest there are about a million muslims in such camps in Eastern China.

Is it any wonder why I have rejected religion in all it's forms?

You’re probably asking the wrong people . Most of the Labour frontbench have experience of selective or private education, either for themselves or their offspring - they’ll probably let you know what’s so terrible about them :rolleyes:. No bog standard or even good comprehensive for the likes of Nugee , Chakribati and Abbott’s children !

Interesting that the sneering lefty , London residing , Paul Mason ( see above ) , went to a Grammar - Thornleigh in Bolton . That was Bolton’s equivalent to our school in Preston . We had some tasty games against them in the 1970s !

It will always be recognised as the first mainstream political party to be investigated by the EHRC and all but the hard left Corbynistas have come to terms with the fact that the Labour Party is riddled from the very top to the nasty bottom with anti-Semitism and racism .

It wasn’t the media who called the Labour Party leader Corbyn a f^*king anti Semite , it was his own colleague, Margaret Hodge , a respected Labour MP .

Granted it was a member of the media who , as a result of hard left activists who blame the press for outing anti-Semitism in their party , needed a bodyguard to protect her whilst reporting on Labour’s Annual Conference. The really nasty party in all its glory .

Why is this not a surprise?

The Tory party refuses to get its own house in order, with 15 suspended councillors reinstated despite evidence showing they had posted or shared offensive or racist material.

Then there is the party’s limitless indulgence of Alexander Johnson, and the 2016 mayoral campaign fronted by Zac Goldsmith. In December, a complaints panel found Mr Johnson’s comparison of burqa-wearing women to “letterboxes” had been “respectful”, while even the supposed moderniser David Cameron found nothing to criticise in the dog-whistle tactics employed against Sadiq Khan, tactics highlighted by Lady Warsi among others at the time.

Such denials and inaction create the overwhelming impression that the Conservative party thinks the charge of racism will not harm it; that voters don’t care.

The original and only Nasty Party will find out at the next election - which could be soon.
