For a change it didn't pay to predict against our team last night.
All of those who went for a Rovers win were rewarded with 2 points, apart from our top-of-the-table man OOT, who correctly predicted 2-0 and collected another 5 points (as if he hasn't enough already!)
How the heck do you predict us to not only win but to also keep a clean sheet after recent games?
The rest of us can only hope he does a Devon Loch
The race for 2nd and 3rd is much tighter though and 25 points can still be won over the remaining 5 matches.

Cheers WB and thanks for all the work you do on the prediction league .
Why did I forecast 2-0 ? A clean sheet from one of the leakiest defences in the league ?
Well I looked at the Derby team , managed by an ex premier league success story . I’ve found that the likes of Lampard tend to want their teams to play pretty football , lots of triangles going nowhere , tending to over play it from the back . It’s the type of football that bores me to tears .
If teams lay off then they can get into trouble . At home Rovers tend to press and play with intensity and physicality against these sorts of teams , winning the 50 /50 s , hunting down the ball in packs and then breaking at speed . That’s the type of football that has me on the edge of my seat .
I also thought that Derby wouldn’t play long balls into the box as they haven’t a Sam Vokes , Jay Rodriguez et al type bully up front . Our defence , with the exception of Lenihan, can’t cope with a physical and aggressive forward line . To me Derby are the opposite of that .
So with little to worry about at the back it was just a matter of Rovers scoring . With Dack back I thought we had every chance !
Easy to explain after the match and if anyone believes all that mumbo jumbo they’ll believe anything
