Not much writhing going on Al. He was lying prone on the ground!

Whichever way you view it it was rash and very dangerous. Be honest Travis was nowhere near to making any sort of contact with the ball. He missed that by about a yard!

since my return ive noticed a need for some nastiness in our midfield. not happy to see red but happy to see some hardness in there ,long may it continue.

There appeared to be a bit of squirming to me but the point is that when he saw the red card was brandished he was OK. It was gamesmanship whether you agree or not and designed to make sure that we went down to ten and sod the effect on a youngster's career. Yes it was a bad tackle but I put that down to youthful exuberance and I hope it does not affect a promising career. There is too much gamesmanship in the game today and I do not excuse our own players if they do it.
