Its a great clip
The thing that got me was the atmosphere - electric

On reflection - the shit pitch added to the fun and it meant we werent a spoilt bunch expecting Barca/Man City type of football like todays crowds expect- mistakes were understood - Keeley looked like he was struggling to even move
Todays kids have no idea what they missed

Man City would be hampered more than anyone on pitches like those. Lower league pitches were always known to be great levellers back in the day.

Just been sent this by a mate who I went to the meeting at KGH with. Best question ever! And probably the best retort too!😀
Nothing wrong with Shebby Singh, without his arrival the snake would still be here. Oh and on Orr, I used to work with someone who has known him since he was a kid. He said he’s always been a w*nker.
This was from back in the day. A meeting I attended with a mate organised at KGH with Singh. Best question and best retort of all time! Any animosity toward Singh in the room instantly evaporated.

What a lot of healthy and well turned out children. Can't say the same for a lot of today's kids. Just a dark note, I wonder how many of those little lads saw through to 1919?

I’ve recently been watching highlights of certain Rovers games on YouTube. They are from a website called Football Archive. I’ve watched a couple that I attended, namely the away game at Tranmere in 92 when we drew 2-2 and revived hopes of reaching the playoffs!
Also the playoff semifinal v Derby at Ewood with Speedie‘s brilliant display. 2 older ones are a match in 1989 under Don McKay at WBA which was 2-2 and a Cup defeat at Exeter 3-0 when Kennedy had to go in goal when Mimms got injured. Absolutely fascinating clips.
Unfortunately I’ve tried and failed to upload them on here so if someone more techy than me could have a try it would be great for some of older posters to reminisce!
I am also fascinated to know who the commentator is. Clearly a Rovers fan with a very broad accent. It’s great to listen to!

I’ve tried that Drog. I can normally upload from YouTube but wondering if this site is different.
Btw I’ve just watched a clip of Rovers 5 v Barnsley 0 in 1989 with a Garner hatrick.
