One or two of those kids must be attracting attention too.

Even at that level Refs must favour the big clubs. I don't think they can help it anymore with one booking for Spurs (not the lad who conceded the Pen either!) and four for BRFC!

Just as a matter of interest and an opne question to anyone who has watched them what formation do the U23's usually play?

Crikey! Good spot waggy. Say's he's a London boy who was playing for Orient and became one of Kenny's first signings (presumably before we were promoted to the Prem). Just 3 appearances and moved on to Plymouth after just one season.

I did consider going to that but the clock ticked down a little too quickly this evening. I love watching Chapman play. From the report it sounds like he was involved in most of the chances.

He was....but on a couple of occasions looked like he was trying to play them on his own
He shot over when a VERY simple 6 yard pass to his left would have produced a simple tap in.

Magloire marshalled the defence well but the best player on the pitch (imo) was the City number 7, Ian Poveda

According to wiki... Poveda is an English kid of Colombian parentage. He was at Chelsea / Arsenal and Barca early doors and let go by all of them and joined Brentford's academy but left and ended up at City when Brentford took the decision to close it all down. If he's as good as you say Steve his sale might have funded Brentford's academy for many years. As it is he'll probably have to leave Man City if he wants to progress.

Don't know if he is that good? but based on last night alone, I would be tracking him for sure.
But if he has already been at those clubs it suggests he isn't quite good enough

Well done the kids.... and well done too to Damian Johnston. Dunny's departure doesn't appear to have done them any harm does it?
