We play the 6 fingered dollopers on 23rd August. What more can be said :D:D:D:D

Surprised Rovers did not get the tickets on sale in time for the Donny match. I expect Mike Cheston is still printing tickets using his John Bull Ink Stamp set.

I won't be going ...my first miss since 1970 apart from the 5-0 when I was in steamboat springs scattering my dad's ashes on the Denver mountains. #napm

They are going to pagger us
I'm not totally sure. A characteristic of bad managers seems to be to win games that don't contribute anything to the big picture.

I remember us playing Everton off the park under Ince in an early rounds cup game with Warnock and Fowler playing centre midfield. Then there's our heroic displays against Liverpool/Man U under Kean and Newcastle/Man U under Coyle.

Maybe I'm being dellusionally optimistic but hopefully this will be the one game Mowbray is able to motivate the players for, and then we'll get comfortably beaten by someone like Peterborough in the next round.

If we get beat at Bradford and then we are stuffed by B/ley then TM may well find it too hot in the managers seat. He could be gone....there again he may hang on like the other parasites that have the infected Rovers and continue to take the cash regardless.

An interesting couple of weeks on the horizon.

Given the match scenario I don't think those prices are excessive.

And in a nutshell Pink that is why I see BRFC as a lost cause and have been pushing for amalgamating all the local tiny clubs into Lancs County for all these years. What chance has this club of competing in the Championship and Premier League when the big boys are dragging in well over two million pounds per match? Effectively what we gross in in a whole year is exceeded by what one of the big boys makes in a couple of home matches?

It's the second round of the league cup.
Had we drawn a league two side, there would have been offers of a tenner anywhere in the ground and kids for a quid.
As we've drawn the dingles, it's time to max up the prices and get as much off the fans as possible.
I was definitely going when the draw was made. Now I'm not so sure.

Come on it's peanuts for a match against the Dingles. For most of us it's £18 (only £10 for me) and it means we can charge the Dingles £22 each. We could sign a new player on the strength of this and the Dingles will have paid for half of him!

We only get 45% of gate receipts as do Burnley.
Can't see us making more than £200k tops
