The correct decision. I can’t really be bothered if the game is rearranged or not.

I wouldn't be bothered if the game was completely cancelled.

It's already about the summer shitshow and whether there will be hope or not for next season.

I can understand your feelings but this is still Blackburn Rovers, our team, There will ever be ups and downs but they will always be my team. Whatever happened to RTID?

I'm with you Alan - its frustrating, and has been for the last 11years but the team and the club will always be part of me.

Football is a spectator sport and without spectators it is not the same. I think the EFL and the FA have continued this pretence all season that football BCD is somehow the same as it’s ever been.
This season and a good part of last season must be the most bizarre in footballing history and I include the war years in that.
I would say it’s bizarre that Liverpool lost 6 successive home games; that would not have happened with a crowd in. North End losing so many home games; Barnsley winning 7 on the bounce and us only one win in 15? Home advantage has been eroded; football being played on substandard pitches by players suffering from fatigue and frequent injury.
I can’t wait for the season to end so we can all take stock and await developments over the coming months.

Al, I am just frustrated and tired along with much of the population. I will still be back to Ewood as soon as it is allowed. I am also fed up with our performances, with our squad we should be doing so much better.

Exactly Tony. A strange and surreal season that we all want to finish and forget ASAP.

I'm not so sure I want to forget it. I'm getting the feeling that this season has been a watershed season for our club and a good number of others. I think we'll see departures this summer that we won't want to see just to cut costs! Also I've a feeling that we'll be shopping in the bargain basement for replacements. Obviously the "have's" in the Championship with their parachute booty can pick and choose from our squad and the squads of similar "have not's".
I'm thinking the intense competitiveness of the Championship will disappear and become a Premier League Mk 2 where the top 6/7 will be battling for promotion and the rest battling against relegation. :worried:

Rovers and Derby County have agreed a new date for this weekend’s Championship fixture at Ewood Park.

Out of respect to HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral service, which will take place in Windsor at 3pm on Saturday April 17th, Rovers’ game against Derby has been brought forward to Friday April 16th, kick-off 6pm.

Rotherham winning last night are now only 8pts adrift with 2 games in hand and with us to play!
All our games are against clubs fighting for survival --This is our best chance of picking up the valuable points needed - Derby are shite

2-0 Rovers win

Rovers get better results against top teams that are confident enough in their own ability to go toe to toe and do not set out to disrupt our style. we don't do well against teams willing to spoil, disrupt and scrap.

Rotherham away to Boro this weekend could be crucial. Boro have a good recent home record but Rotherham's away form has been pretty handy too. If they can win at Boro their morale will be sky high.

As for our home form, it's so poor that we are 3rd bottom over the last four home matches, whilst Derby are 3rd from bottom over their last four away games. Not looking likely to be a classic I'd suggest.

From that thread:

“Last won there in 2014, 3-2

Thats also the last time we scored away there”

Wow.
