I hope we dismantle them at the weekend, they played well last night but as a place it’s up there with Birmingham which i equally cannot stand.

1-0 Rovers
Many years ago we were kept in the open paddock at the side after the game. Their fans were throwing half house bricks over the wall at us. South Yorks Police did nothing.

A toughie of a game. It will be tight, we will need to stroke the balls forward and keep in control for the whole of the session.

2-1 to my beloved Wovers with Wolan getting in on the act.

I recall going to bramhall lane years ago in the early 90's. We left the ground just before the end of the match to get back to the car. We had to walk around the ground and we were behind the home end just after the final whistle went and the home supporters poured out, I can tell you I was mighty glad the four of us weren't wearing colours! The atmosphere was very threatening. Probably the worst I've ever experienced (turf moor 17/12/2000 in the ground was worse but obviously Burnley's finest got nowhere near our coaches)..... and that after sheff utd had won!!

How will both teams react to knocking prem opponents out of the fa Cup? My heart says it'll be a cracker and the rovers will replicate Tuesday nights form and sweep sheff utd away whilst my head based on years of following the rovers suggests it'll be a case of after the Lord Mayors show and we're in for a turgid and disappointing spectacle.🤔
1-1

Their fans have always struck me as being like Burnley compared to Sheff Wednesday being like Rovers.

I went through a phase of going to a lot of away games with my colours showing and I remember Sheff Wednesday fans being perfectly fine and up for a chat about football. I've always had the impression Sheff Utd fans definitely aren't like that.

Sadly most teams have a ‘naughty / nasty group of followers (I can’t call them fans). I have seen our lot causing mayhem at few away games this season. I sincerely hope the Sheffield thugs who attacked the Spurs fans are caught and prosecuted.

Wow that surprises me. I'm not a hardcore away fan (certainly not anymore!) but have probably been to about 80 in my life.

The only time I've ever seen Rovers fans starting trouble is when Blackburn Youth turned up to a Bolton away match in 2013. There weren't many of them but yeesh they were a hard looking bunch. After Bolton scored in the 90th minute, they started chucking coins/seats at the Bolton nutter section, one of them ran across the pitch to try to attack the Bolton lot, then outside the away end after the game they were fighting with police to try to get to the Bolton fans.

But thats literally been it from my experience. We were known as the softest/nicest fans going from what I always heard, so definitely surprised we've a rough element now.
