Cheers Pebblegate . Thanks for the link . Just watching the cricket but will have a look later . Hope you enjoy the game tomorrow. Should be a real Lancashire Hotpot .

I’ve forecast a 4-1 win to the famous Blue and White Halves . It might sound crazy looking at current form , but I am top of our prediction league, so beware !

Welcome Pebbleleague. I suspected you might be a North Ender when you joined given your IP address but you are most welcome.
Mind me asking Pebbleleague but who are your biggest rivals? Is it us or Blackpool? Only asking cos a lad in our village is a pne fan and he's beside himself with excitement. Banging on triumphantly about bringing 7000 and all that stuff. Odd though he just would not have it when I said well it's an important derby for us too, just the the Bolton matches and Wigan but it's nothing like the real thing for us......... against Burnley!

Team news
Figure it out for yourselves. Why the hell Travis and Rothwell don't get a start is beyond me

Rovers: Raya, Reed, Nyambe, Williams, Mulgrew (c), Bennett, Evans, Smallwood, Armstrong, Dack, Graham.

Substitutes: Leutwiler, Rothwell, Brereton, Nuttall, Travis, Bell, Conway.

Just seen the team
1-2:(
I can understand Williams inclusion even though he was worse than useless at deepdale.

Raya's weak in the air and nyambe shrinks in height when he jumps.

Travis and reed deserve a go in the central midfield spot whilst rothwell and Armstrong should share the wide rolls.
If rothwell can't get a run after a self declared Mowbray shake up then there's little hope for him.
Not happy! Only a win will cure my ire.

0-1 Williams at fault for Preston's FIRST attack!

Playing good football until that cock up. Williams must be the s lowest full back in the 4 leagues

That incident with the so called injured player says it all about our team.
Instead of going for the jugular we were more interested in who would put it out for a throw.
And then the bugger jumped up and carried on.

Definitely after that disallowed Graham goal.
Yes there was a bit of pushing but nothing that doesn't happen all over the pitch

Ft and a double for pne. We had the lions share of the play but I'm of the opinion we wouldn't have scored if we'd played till tomorrow. It's reading and Rotherham all over again. Beaten by a poor team! The only consolation that I am clinging to at the moment is that it could be worse.... I could have to watch preston every week.

I quite like Mowbray but I think he's starting to skate on thin ice.

Nyambe all too often resembles a rabbit caught in car headlights. Mom for me for what it's worth from either mulgrew or graham.

Very disappointing. Rovers beaten again, this time by a side who were professional, cynical and as far as gamesmanship is concerned, spell it in bold and in capitals !

They’re off back to Preston with the ugliest of ugly wins . What’s the saying ? Decent sides win when they play badly .

My reaction ? I wish we were more like them . I have huge admiration for TM , he’s been at the helm whilst Rovers have turned into a normal football club again . However I’m afraid he’s not in the same class as a Pulis, Warnock , Dyche , Big Sam or to a certain extent the guy who manages Preston - my type of managers , for the type of club we now are .

North End were very poor today but sit just outside the play offs. , having done the double over their deadliest rivals ( that was obvious today from the reaction of their fans who attended in admirable numbers and their team ) I’m beginning to sense that the Rovers are Lancashire’s equivalent to England . Every other local team loves beating us more than anyone else .I guess we can blame our illustrious history of winning so many major trophies for that !

Now waiting for TMs post match assessment.

Raya or Nyambe for me as MOM but its a bit mute really - the whole team looks stuck, no movement or invention and to me it was screaming out for somebody pushing from central midfield. Why no Travis? Bennetts best position is in central midfield (imo) and perhaps he should start there (as he is clearly un-droppable for some reason)
Williams and Dack were awful, but nowhere near as bad as that cheating fucking ref - perhaps he had to be seen to be being "fair" as both Dack and Graham were having some banter with him pre kick off ( I did mention to my mate that the ref watcher will have spotted it, so he will give us fuck all )

The more I think about , this season seems to have turned on the Rovers throwing away 3 points at Reading. Points that were there on a plate and there for the taking .

I’ll never understand TMs thought process approaching that game .
