The games are coming along like Ryan Nyambe again (thick and fast).

Tomorrow we welcome recently-relegated and now high-flying Watford to Ewood Park.
The hornets have won three on the spin (almost like us  )
Xisco Munoz (ex-Spanish footballer) is currently the Watford manager, having joined them from Dynamo Tblisi just before Christmas
In the 11 Championship matches he has been in charge, they have W7 D2 L2.
Changing manager isn't always a bad thing.

Watford are a massive 18 points in front of Rovers, having scored 3 fewer goals than us but having conceded 13 fewer!
I'm struggling to paint a positive picture for this one but, knowing Rovers, this may be one of those games that we get a result from.
Conversely, when did we last lose 5 on the spin? 😣

With the weather looking more than a little dodgy leading up to the game, the Ewood park pitch is going to be a factor in this match (again).
We are almost certain to be without Gallagher - he wouldn't necessarily be starting anyway - but as for the rest of the team, I haven't a scooby.
Will Nyambe be risked?
Will Harwood-Bellis get another start?
Will Dack remind us what he is capable of?
Will McBride get a well-deserved chance? (will he heck)

Will the two clowns on iFollow tell it like it is for a change?
I'm trying to get upbeat about another dead rubber but failing miserably I'm afraid.
COYB (please!)

The first line alone deserved the laughing emoji - brilliant!

As I'm just about to be overtaken by an alter ego in the prediction league - positive results are as desperate for me as they are for TM.

I cant see how we can win this on present form - but in desperation for points I predict a 2-1 win for us (because I reckon Kate will go for a Watford win)

In fairness Watford's last 4 away games have all been pretty tight affairs.

Sarr will obviously be a threat whilst Deeney might be deployed to rough up our new kids on the block. We know from old that Will Hughes is a creative force, but we should take heart that we gave as good as we got at Vicarage Road.

Anyway we were mighty unlucky down there with Ben Foster being given MoM by their own commentators with Lenihan scoring an OG zand Arma missing a pen, plus of course Kabalese not being shown a red in the first half.

Lenihans OG just after HT to make it 3-1 was the kicker but Watford's first was dreadful tracking back by Brererton who was obviously having 40 winks but he did later scored a rare goal (commentators words not mine ODB;)) to part make amends. Nyambe was totally to blame for Watford's second for similarly going to sleep. Had he and BB had a late night or two? Laughably he did appear to be trying to lay the blame elsewhere from the vid.

I have just consulted the oracle. Our Kate in response says she is Rover the Moon with Boris and in a moment of gay abandon suggests the Rovers will win by a pair to nil (2-0).

In my more objective opinion I predict 3-0 to T’Watford.

Well, would you believe it?
What a cheap rag the LT is. Its not as if I was even looking for errors.

''With Darragh Lenihan, Joe Rankin-Costello, Lewis Holtby and Bradley Johnson not ready to make their returns to injury''

''Rovers are able to make nine substitutes''

They need proof readers who follow football a bit and also ...... well I'll rest there.

Nice preview WB.
For now I'm forecasting a 1 - 0 victory for Rovers but I reserve the right to change that when I see the team that Mowbray has dreamed up.

Do you know I’m considering the same at the moment, that McBride looks a prospect from what I’ve seen. My prediction at the moment is now 2-1 to Watford.

Given the weather forecast it might be best for the pitch if it rains hard enough to call this match off.

I really cannot be bothered watching this tosh tonigh.

Rovers raping of Brockhall has well and truly put me off, never mind the football it is the one-off sale of assets that is shortsighted; once sold we will have lost them for good.

And it's no forecast anymore it's teeming down with poor visibility to boot and forecast most of the day too.

My positivity this season has led to a disastrous showing in the prediction league ( Kloppitis ) , still , in for a penny in for a pound :

Little wind and just a bit of drizzle. Perfect footy conditions, wish I was in the ground and not at home.

Douglas, Evans, Rothwell and Dack are back in the starting 11. All of these are ball players who will be playing on a pitch resembling treacle. I hope McBride gets some game time.

Evans Jesus, Rovers 1 v 2 Watford
Exactly what I thought. My prediction of 2-1 to Watford stands, if we’re lucky.)

Ive just had a thought, are any Northern Ireland international fixtures coming up?
