It is back to Ewood this Tuesday evening. Let’s hope it is a better game than the tosh recently served up at home.

There is an excellent ticket offer from Rovers. I will be booking a ticket for a friend who rarely attends - I hope the performance encourages him to come again.

Just noticed b***ley are playing at Preston kicking off 15 minutes later than us. Their fans train will be passing through Blackburn after we have played, I remember what happened the last time a similar event occurred. A bit of bad planning there I think.

I think that we're in for defeat again; not totally humiliating, but decisive enough to remind us that JDT sees us us as a Project to be developed over a few transfer windows, than an instant fix. I fear a scoreline of something like Rovers 1, Watford 4.

I wealy hope Wovers get stuck in tonight.

Sadly I will miss the game as I am getting my highlights done ready for the Queen’s funeral 😢

I am going for a Wovers 2-0 victory.

I know I shouldn't, but I've just read the Watford thread on the dark side and fuck me you'd think we were playing Man City or Real Madrid at Ewood tonight. This isn't the Premier where the gap between the have's and have not's is massive, it's the Championship and we shouldn't be going into any game, certainly not at Ewood, expecting or fearing a drubbing. Taking snippets from various posts over there, we're losing 4 nil tonight - no we're not, we're finishing 24th this season - no we're not and we're getting our first sub 10,000 crowd of the season tonight - no we're not.

It's a very young but talented squad we have and because of that, like it or not, it's likely we're gonna be inconsistent this season. We'll hand out a few drubbings as well like the one at Swansea. Whether we lose tonight or not, I expect us to be more than competitive and as ever positive I'm going for a 2-1 win.

For anyone who's convinced we're getting a drubbing tonight, take your money out of your savings account, open an account with Betfair and get the lot on Watford at 2.60 (nearly 13/8) and get 160% return on your money instead of 4 or 5%. Bookies aren't renowned for being generous, Watford aren't 1/5 or 1/10 or 1/100, they're well odds against to win tonight so I'm at a loss as to why so many are fearing a drubbing.

As I say if anyone is, it's free money for you apparently.

I can't remember the last time we threatened from dead ball kicks.
Need it away from the GK though

What a good first half!
A sensible team selection too 👋
A few mistakes but there's bound to be.
Special mention for Dolan, I've been his biggest critic, he's learned to move the ball and, at last, is a real asset.
Watford don't look up for this at all but there's plenty of time left.
