Good win for England against a decent French side . After two dubious Welsh tries cost them victory a fortnight ago and prior to that , the debacle against Scotland , when they conceded soft penalty after soft penalty , this is a welcome victory . Well done .

TMO and DRS seem to work for rugby and cricket on the whole . I even think it’s improved cricket no end . Certainly bowlers benefit from more LBW decisions .

With regard to the rugby if that perfectly good try had been disallowed England would have felt cheated for two games on the trot. Well done that female ref !

I don’t watch Premier League football so I have very little knowledge of VAR . However it’s puzzling why there is so much controversy about VAR , just to take this forum as one example ! Is it the game of football or the fact that football culture means managers , players and fans refuse/ struggle to accept referee decisions that go against their team ?

VAR would have been useful last night and without a shadow of a doubt looking at the TV pictures , the VAR referee would have awarded Rovers the two penalties they richly deserved .

Had everything that game. Luke Pearce had a hard job reffing that. Did very well. Others might disagree. Always explains himself well too. Out of the Sports I watch, He is the best.

Great game and great credit to the French team . Wales have had more than their fair share of luck in previous games and yesterday it ran out .

Excellent win for the British and Irish Lions in South Africa yesterday . After a poor first half they pulverised the Springboks in the second . I enjoy watching the English , Scottish, Welsh and Irish coming together as one and producing a superb team performance. Special mention for Maro Itogi who was immense.

Good win for England but compared to Ireland’s victory over New Zealand and the overall quality in that game , England have quite a bit to do .

A young England have just beaten the World Champions against all the odds by one point . South Africa were immense in the second half but England held on and then snatched the winning three points in the last minute . A massive improvement on the Aussie win .

A fantastic game of rugby . Well done Eddie Jones , Courtney Lawes and the boys. Special mention for Captain Courtney , who although subbed came on to the pitch to back up his lads , after quite a few of the South Africa players ‘ lost it ‘at the end and wanted a bit of a rumble

Seems there's a bit of a crossover between the timing of Scotland v England live and the rovers match at Swansea. Oh well I guess the nation can watch the Rovers and pick up the rugby match later on.
