Well sad bstard here........... People are getting spoiled with ever cheaper ST's. I realise that it'd only be a drop in a bucket given our overall debt but I'd certainly have put up with an increase in line with inflation, in fact I expected one.

I expected an inflation increase. The fact that they are frozen makes me a happy little bunny. You are allowed to be sad if you want.

You obviously don't believe that the events unfolding at Horwich (and probably worse) could ever happen at the Rovers? Could you share your thought processes on that issue ODB? As far as I can see as soon as the venkys decide that they have had enough and sail off into the sunset then our local options will quickly be down to PNE and Burnley, that is unless supporting the Stanley floats your boat.

We all know that they screwed the club up big time when they first came and the reasons are many and varied but I can't see that they have done much wrong on the past 3 years or so. If they buggered off and the supporters had to pick up the current cost of running BRFC then the 10,ooo st holders need to pay something in the region of £1800.00 each every season! That will never ever happen will it?

Won’t be a problem. There have been and are people interested in buying Rovers. Venkys have blocked attempts in the past.

Wont be a problem??? How do you know that and what are you basing it on? Perhaps you are right but then there are people interested in buying Bolton currently too !!!
Not that the current owner is exactly Mr Popular with the supporters now. :poop:
On the other hand the Oystons are clear out of Blackpool and might be interested in a club with lots of prime land at Brockhall.

Lets be honest BRFC is always likely to be a loss making enterprise at this level. 12-14k gates with cheap ST's will always keep us at a permanent disadvantage. It could change if we were ever to get into the Prem but we would be exchanging a relatively comfortable existence in the Championship (which I believe is the best division anyway) for an annual relegation battle as we join 2/3rds of the Prem who are annual cannon fodder for the big hitters. The only good thing would be that with good management we could become solvent again.
As it stands the venkys got a few things wrong form the start .
1. Placing trust in shysters on the rob.
and
2. Taking too long to recognise that they were the victims of a sting.

If they had trapped up in 2010 and done as they have been doing recently for the previous 3 or 4 years i.e. placing their faith in the management back then and quietly providing a little financial support from the background, then I believe their ownership would have been lauded rather than derided.

Best advice I can offer their detractors is to look before you leap.

Interesting that only 25% of the club's income is from ST and ticket sales isn't it?

Just found out my ST is no longer £399 it's come down to £215! From just over £17 to just over £9 per match! Good value in anyone's book I'd say.

............ I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I am going to stop putting my old boots in the car just in case they are short though!

Love it - make the money grabbers pay
I like the vague way they have said 1875 members will get special deals!!!
So only a very small section of home fans will suffer
Well done Waggott and co

So let me get this right......... I've got good credit and was able to renew my season ticket with the new financial company v12 but some people didn't pass with them so now the club has found another company to finance them......... with the tickets costing less per month and being over 8 months not 9!!!! This must be wrong

Father and I have moved from the Darren End enclosure and were now in the Riverside. Harrison in the ticket office was very helpful and we were allowed to go and check the seats. I must say the pitch in particular and the ground looked in fabulous condition, can’t wait for August 3rd now.
