Might be just what we need to get back to winning ways again. Stoke haven't had the best start with just 1 win to date. Championship Table - Football - BBC Sport
It is however early days and a note of caution. The Rovers (imo) have been rather fortunate to have 3 wins out of 5 whilst recording the Championships lowest shots on target. That's just 11 shots on target from 5 matches folks! We seemed to get away with it until Scotty Wharton got injured. Will the Rovers get their mojo back and get back on the goals trail or will Stoke find theirs instead?

3 - 1 to Rovers DACK to score. It's well past the time he should be played. Szmodwhatever has showed nothing to be included before him.

Just read O'Neil has been potted at Stoke?
That's never good just before you play them
1-1
l'd have agreed with you @steve w , if they had got rid of him after last weekend's game; or even yesterday. But sacking him today doesn't give his temporary replacement much time to impose his plans for Saturday.

And while there'll doubtless be significant changes from our team on Tuesday night, the squad will have a lift from that win. So, without yet committing myself to a prediction of the scoreline, I'm quietly optimistic about the outcome.

So, it looks likely that Alec Neil won't be in the visitors' dressing room today. Which, in turn means that Michael O'Neil's Assistant will be. So that will hopefully mean that there won't be a proper "New Manager bounce" for our visitors.

Which leads me to predict a 2-0 win for Lancashire's Most Historic Football Club.
