Went for power hit it right down the middle and Thundered it against the bar. A proper let off. 8 out of 10 of those would go in.

Not criticising Raya at all but just to be clear it wasn't a 'worldie' at all. Raya didn't save Crouch's header... it hit him ! Raya only reacted after it hit him.

Dunce's cap for the last 15 mins albeit from these very limited highlights was Darragh Lenihan. He was partly to blame for both their goals and wholly to blame for the penalty.

Haha ..how deep is thy hate
Getting wearisome Abbey. I don't know Raya so how could I possib;ly hate the lad? What on earth makes you say daft things like that?

Yes he can be brilliant but sometimes has really bad lapses but nobody's perfect in this league. Maybe Jack Rodwell will come good and Lenihan could play in midfield where lapses of concentration are not generally so disastrous.

Having been there many times before I wouldn't be surprised to hear of trouble at Stoke although Rovers fans only ever seem to kick lumps out of each other !

Amazing game by the sounds of it, couldn't believe it when they went three nil up bit I knew damn well they'd end up hanging on you need Rovers to be a four or five up to feel safe.

Stoke boss Gary Rowett praises Rovers after victory

“Blackburn showed a massive amount of fight and we couldn’t quite play through them as much as we would like to do, but if that’s the case you can come in 0-0 at half-time.

“We have conceded 16 goals this season and with the Blackburn goals included we have made 14 elementary mistakes in those 16 goals.

“I think Blackburn gave us a bit of a lesson late on under pressure when they are throwing bodies around and being aggressive and doing everything they can to stop a goal going in, but we are defensively soft and weak.”
Gary Rowett was right in his assessment about the Rovers and their fighting spirit . 9 out of 10 for honesty . However he should also have mentioned that Rovers also played some excellent football and for two of the goals tore his team's defence to shreds . The other was a great through ball , cooly finished by the excellent Danny Graham. We're lucky to have him.

Had a quick look at one of the Stoke City fans forum yesterday . Quite a lot of them ( the sensible ones :) ) in favour of sacking Gary Rowett and breaking the bank to get Big Sam in !

I doubt he'd go there. He's too good for that. No doubt there'll be a Prem job in the offing by Christmas. A few million for 4 months work is better than pratting about in the bread and butter Championship. Who knows he might even find himself being begged to return to one of NUFC, WHU, Palace or Everton by then! Desperation is sure to take precedence over pride by Premier Boards when they view the struggles of the likes of the recently mighty Stoke, Hull, Swansea, Villa etc.
