I didn't see the Preston game - did we set up the same way?
I couldn't for the life of me figure out what formation we were attempting to play?
Gally and Hedges off to be replaced by midgets
Rothwell off to be replaced by Dack having to drop deep to do what Rothwell does-
None of it made ant sense to me
All that said - they were a far better team
JVH was lucky not to see red again (2nd consecutive home game he has been very lucky)

Good question Robin and I don’t know the answer .
I wrote to Mr Waggott early in the season expressing a view that rather than improving race relations in the UK, the BLM Movement and its association with taking the knee had set them back 30 years . He didn’t reply personally , but his PA wrote saying my thoughts had been noted ( which I took to mean ignored)
I suspect it’s a senior management diktat to curry favour with the town’s changing demographic .

The morning afterwards…….I feel numb after that pitiful ‘performance’. None of our players turned up, clearly the Sheffield United result on the Friday knocked the stuffing out of them.
These are well paid professional players; we should have expected more in front of a decent crowd, A big rebuilding job is required. Already the medical staff and a number of the coaching staff have handed in their notice. Our Hd of Recruitment is leaving as is TM.
The V’s need to act quickly (that would be novel) so we can start rebuilding now. I wonder how much money our new Director of Football and Head Coach will see of the BBD sale money; not a lot I suspect but don’t worry as Sam ‘Donkey’ Gallagher will be leading our attack

We were awful compared to Bournemouth. They were stronger, fitter, faster and more committed and I’m glad we’re not going up. We would be the victims of a Fulham score line most weeks.

Lenihan was supposed to sign a new contract on Friday and it was going to be announced pre-match yesterday. For some reason that I am unaware of it was not signed.
