if there is to be a defence of sorts it's that ' bbc English' has long gone. It used to be the gold standard of the English language. Only Rees Mogg and a few others speak our language correctly and as it should be spoken. Raynor's version is just an abomination.

Absolutely brilliant interview on the Laura Kuenssburg programme. Stand in presenter Victoria Derbyshire got a right old strip torn off her and the BBC by an Israeli the ex PM Naftali Bennett.
He pulled no punches and was bang on the nail with his opinions. She was bleating about the Geneva convention and the rules of warfare with virtually no reference to the atrocities initiated by the Hamas terrorists.
Rather mysteriously it appeared that someone at the beeb pulled the plug as the interview was abruptly and suspiciously cut off just when he was going in for the kill.

If he's no longer PM of Israel then I wonder if he fancies living in No 10. He might just be the man to save the Tories, he makes little Rishi look like a real wimp. A proper leader!

Sky News cut-off Jack Straw the other night when Sophie Ridge was interviewing him. I had it on in the background. My ears pricked when, on the subject of Israel/Hamas, Straw started talking about how rich white men don't live in council houses. I mean, he's not wrong, but it was going down a bit of a bizarre road that Sky News either didn't like, or thought was way-off topic. They had a couple of Sirs/Lords in the studio which probably got their backs up.
