Saudi Arabia flag removed from pub chain's world cup bunting. So I thought:

1. A backlash to recent events like the Tommy Robinson improsonment and Safiaa Boular terror plot? Controversial and unfair specifically targeting Saudi Arabia.
2. Morally objecting to the aggression of a flag with a sword saying the only god is Allah? Again controversial but some impressive backbone.
3. Objecting to Saudi Arabia's brutal foreign policy, appalling human rights and possible secret funding of Islamic State? Now we're talking, must be that, good on 'em.

Oh no, I was way off. Its being taken down because UK Muslim groups don't want anything sacred to Islam near people drinking alcohol.

Who holds the power now in this country has changed so fast its breathtaking.

Typical ..the story was a lad in Rochdale got beat nearly half to death on Sunday morning by a group of Asians in a racial attack and not one media source will run the story...looks like Facebook has banned it as well.

Happens too much this. They arrest illegal immigrants and then let them go and ask them to report at later date. Of course they comply!

Dacre is below and beyond contempt. Personifies the flaws in the English collective psyche that through the Brexit lies have led us to cast aside the core values of pragmatism, thoughtfulness and tolerance.

The fact that the liberal metropolitan elite and the left wing intelligentsia hated Paul Dacre was good enough for me . He had their number , he called out their hypocrisy . We know who they are , they live in the leafy suburbs well away from the refugees and economic migrants they welcome . They worship at the altar of cultural Marxism , hate innocent English patriotism but are cheer leaders for the nasty , divisive Scottish left wing nationalism . Usually , but not always , middle class public sector 'workers', enjoying their inflated taxpayer funded salaries or if retired, probably at a ridiculously early age , their taxpayer funded gold plated pensions

That's quite a tribute you've posted to Mr Dacre , BenJimJohn , many thanks for sharing it . I'd forgotten the work the Mail did in using the headline "MURDERERS" in February 1997 to accuse the suspects who were acquitted of the murder of black teenager Stephen Lawrence. Whilst the liberal media hadn't got the cahoones to pop their heads above the parapet , the Mail delivered.

Perhaps helping to bring some of those racist thugs to justice is what he should be remembered for , especially at the time when we have a mainstream political party that is racist and anti - Semite to the core .

He was told to apply for residency, not nationalisation by the French authorities as he has been there 7 years, surprised they left it that long to be honest as they will want him in the French tax regime.
It's not Labour raving loonies don't do the same is it, Mr Branson.

........ and the above is an example of the Britain that Dacre has helped to create, a dying version of small-minded English nationalism.

His paper and the Express through Brexit have contributed to a terrible nastiness in British society, a malign aura of unpleasantness and dog whistle reporting that whipped unintelligent people into a frenzy of anger and intolerance.

I suppose Dacre will join the other Brexit hypocrits such as Farage and Lawson by going to live abroad. The country will change for the better when their type are gone.
