They couldn't even spare one person to stay and look after the place? Don't people have CCTV anyway perhaps they ought to install it. I know some burglars are stupid (not all but people do reckless things for instance with drug addictions, etc) but these sound like "professionals" (if indeed there was no CCTV and they made sure of this) who had a predetermined plan and monitored the place accordingly.
I think the word "thieves" just springs to mind whether it's gypsies or a whole range of possibilities.
As for the gender neutral passport stuff what a load of nonsense. What are they too thick to realise that other countries have a say in the matter as well? I don't care if people want to identify as trans, etc (though they need to make it absolutely official before reflected in any passport paperwork it's hardly same as asking family/friends to respect wishes) but I draw the line at you're "either one or the other". What the hell is prejudiced against identifying as either one gender or the other? With nonsense like this how long until you're "age neutral" or "skin neutral" or hair colour neutral" it's ridiculous. Groups like Stonewall should stick to what they were good at and that's advocating gay rights, etc. Not stuff that deserves mockery and are issues seemingly just for the sake of it.
OK if someone is bi-sexual that's different. Asexual isn't the same as being gender neutral either (if there even if such a thing). For some things you just can't be both or neither I'm afraid and gender is one of them. Unless you're a hermaphrodite. Honestly I would prefer people requesting they be identified as a hermaphrodite before this gender neutral rubbish. No I don't see "gender neutral" and "hermaphrodite" as the same thing because the latter is hardly "neutral". In such cases let them choose one (kinda like trans but without any actual choice really) or be gender H. Obviously at birth with hermaphrodites it should probably be up to the parents to choose M, F or H. In most cases whatever they choose will probably be how they choose to identify once old enough to make the choice for themselves. I do think once you reach teenage years you should have some legal avenues though and certainly there have been cases like this taken to court. I'm not making fun of hermaphrodites either by saying "gender H" because it's still preferable to the "gender neutral" nonsense. Now that's something to make fun of.
