They couldn't even spare one person to stay and look after the place? Don't people have CCTV anyway perhaps they ought to install it. I know some burglars are stupid (not all but people do reckless things for instance with drug addictions, etc) but these sound like "professionals" (if indeed there was no CCTV and they made sure of this) who had a predetermined plan and monitored the place accordingly.

I think the word "thieves" just springs to mind whether it's gypsies or a whole range of possibilities.

As for the gender neutral passport stuff what a load of nonsense. What are they too thick to realise that other countries have a say in the matter as well? I don't care if people want to identify as trans, etc (though they need to make it absolutely official before reflected in any passport paperwork it's hardly same as asking family/friends to respect wishes) but I draw the line at you're "either one or the other". What the hell is prejudiced against identifying as either one gender or the other? With nonsense like this how long until you're "age neutral" or "skin neutral" or hair colour neutral" it's ridiculous. Groups like Stonewall should stick to what they were good at and that's advocating gay rights, etc. Not stuff that deserves mockery and are issues seemingly just for the sake of it.

OK if someone is bi-sexual that's different. Asexual isn't the same as being gender neutral either (if there even if such a thing). For some things you just can't be both or neither I'm afraid and gender is one of them. Unless you're a hermaphrodite. Honestly I would prefer people requesting they be identified as a hermaphrodite before this gender neutral rubbish. No I don't see "gender neutral" and "hermaphrodite" as the same thing because the latter is hardly "neutral". In such cases let them choose one (kinda like trans but without any actual choice really) or be gender H. Obviously at birth with hermaphrodites it should probably be up to the parents to choose M, F or H. In most cases whatever they choose will probably be how they choose to identify once old enough to make the choice for themselves. I do think once you reach teenage years you should have some legal avenues though and certainly there have been cases like this taken to court. I'm not making fun of hermaphrodites either by saying "gender H" because it's still preferable to the "gender neutral" nonsense. Now that's something to make fun of.

The Kinks did a good song about it way back :)

With a name like that I'm not surprised they have a reputation for being open minded. Of course now the "gender neutral" idiots probably think that song is prejudiced for having audacity to refer to "men" and "women".

Earlier today I opened my gate with my right hand. I generally type more with my right hand. I write with my right hand. Like most people I regard myself as "right handed". My God I'm being prejudiced towards "neutral handed" people!!! Especially opening the gate when there may well have been witnesses. Call the cops!!! Hate crime alert!!!

That's an absurdist example of how stupid the whole "gender neutral" debate is.

Vinjay, you should listen to the Kinks singing
"Lola! L O L A, Lola!" From 1970
Here you go:

I met her in a club down in North Soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry cola
C-O-L-A cola
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her name and in a dark brown voice she said, "Lola"
L-O-L-A Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, I'm not the world's most physical guy
But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why she walk like a woman and talk like a man
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well, we drank champagne and danced all night
Under electric candlelight
She picked me up and sat me on her knee
And said, "Little boy won't you come home with me?"
Well, I'm not the world's most passionate guy
But when I looked in her eyes
Well, I almost fell for my Lola
Lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola lo lo lo lo Lola lo lo lo lo Lola
I pushed her away, I walked to the door
I fell to the floor, I got down on my knees
I looked at her, and she at me
Well that's the way that I want it to stay
And I always want it to be that way for my Lola
Lo lo lo lo Lola
Girls will be boys, and boys will be girls
It's a mixed-up, muddled-up, shook-up world

Except for Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Well I left home just a week before
And I've never ever kissed a woman before
But Lola smiled and took me by the hand
And said, "Little boy, gonna make you a man"
Well I'm not the world's most masculine man
But I know what I am and I'm glad I'm a man
And so is Lola

Lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola...

Ambidextrous isn't neutral though is it? Disgusting for me to publicly open my gate with such right handed prejudice better give myself in to the police.

Below is a paragraph from the article.
Beggars belief a school can be run without a bank account. Again an example of one rule for one, but your racist to air the view.

Chief magistrate Emma Arbuthnot, who was due to hear the application, said: “I had real concerns and understand why the department brought the application. I had a concern about what £400,000 was doing in cash at the school — I think that’s a danger to the school. If all the parents know they send money in and pay their fees in cash, that is a risk to the school. I would like there to be a bank account.”

£400,000!!! I thought it was illegal to hold that much cash anyway, it certainly is in France.

update, you can actually hold as much cash as you want in the UK.

Can't see it BB. Is this the article?
https://www.standard.co.uk/news/cri...0-cash-found-at-flat-in-grounds-a3869781.html

I'd have to say it's probably par for the course. Cash is King in most sections of the UK's muslim society isn't it?
Is anyone really surprised? They represent a lawless section of our society and the lawlessness is down to our own authorities who goodness only knows why, appear to be doing their utmost to go against the wishes and sentiments of the rest of society.

Yes it is Drog, a slack post from me!! So much for the Government wanting to move to cashless transactions....it won’t happen, it will be discriminatory to those who do not have a culture of using banks.

Drink driving and other alcohol related crimes aren't generally linked to Muslims. So maybe next time someone gets glassed inside a bar or drives recklessly under influence maybe you can scapegoat all white British people as thugs or selfish. Of course though that's classic Brit culture isn't it (and certainly more truth to that statement than tedious scapegoating of Muslims) so that's socially acceptable right? You can have views against immigration and encourage mosques, etc (which I do but with some degree of balance) to take a relentlessly hardline stance against extremism without sounding like a completely out of touch, scapegoating old git. Considering the regular posters on this site have an average age of about 90 (ok that's an exaggeration but most of the regular posters are over 50) I wonder how many of you were doing the same when AIDS fear mongering and misconceptions were at their height.

OK I've pretty much portrayed all Glaswegians as drunks (having seen Celtic fans close up and knowing someone personally for years who's a practical walking stereotype of a Glaswegian with a drink problem) and automatically take a dislike to Man United fans and fat people (maybe dislike is a bit exaggerated with the latter perhaps more contempt and admittedly unflattering personal amusement) but at least that's pretty harmless in comparison.

Do your police do things like this?

They've just started here.

"A driver caught on dashcam nearly causing a head-on collision on the New South Wales' south coast, has become one of the first people arrested by a new police task force.
The video shows the driver overtaking across double lines on the Princes Highway at Nowra earlier this month.
Police from Strike Force Puma were alerted to the vision and have now arrested a 46-year-old woman from western Sydney and charged her with dangerous driving.
Police Minister Troy Grant said the strike force will "go after those reckless drivers who are putting lives at risk every day".
The video was captured just 10 kilometres from the spot where four members of the Falkholt family were killed when their car was hit by a serial driving offender last December.
Last year 21 people were killed in New South Wales by drivers whose licences have been disqualified, suspended or cancelled. So far this year, the figure is at six.
Police say these kind of "high-risk drivers" are on their radar.
"Strike Force Puma will go after those people who continue to flout the laws, who continue to drive after they've been convicted by courts," Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy said.
Officers will be trawling social media to catch people out, and are also relying on people with dashcams to send them footage.&
"The community is the eyes and ears of this Strike Force. We need the community's help to target these high-risk drivers," Inspector Robert Toynton said.
"We often see pictures on social media of cars doing burnouts .. this is behaviour that won't be tolerated anymore. We'll be using social media, we'll be using our intelligence section to target those people," Ass Comm Corboy said.
One example of this was vision revealed 9NEWS in May showing a driver revealing the gender of a baby with coloured smoke by doing a burnout in a public street.
NSW Police said it's tracked down the culprit and cancelled his New South Wales car registration. As the incident occurred in the ACT, a brief has been sent to ACT Policing."

The bit in bold is particularly worrying as these people have no insurance, and whilst you need to get CTP (compulsory third Party) insurance to register a car, if the car is not registered you're limited to what you get back as compensation, as most of these scrotes are penniless.
