The Bank of England’s forecast for no deal does appear to be doom laden and some would suggest politically motivated . I sincerely hope common sense prevails and we leave the EU project on good terms.

According to what has been said on here, previously, Benjamin Kaynine aka 'Chris' and and jim mk2 are all one person: John Dawkins. He lives in the Ribble Valley and is a retired local reporter.

For instance:

1. John uses strikingly similar watchwords on both roversfans and brfcs to denounce “Tory cuts”. One of his favourites slogans is "private affluence, public squalor":

John shrieks “waaaaaaa-thist” at anyone who questions unlimited immigration to the UK, or the role of the EU Commission in public life, yet under the name of jim mk2, on brfcs.com, he uses nasty racial slurs against traditional easy targets, like the Irish, whom he describes as “filth” or "swine". Under the name of Benjamin Kaynine, on here, he targets Jews for their “silly clothes” and employs the language of classic pre-war European anti-Semites to describe British politicians, according to the Jewish heritage of their parents. That's why he refers to Dominic Raab as “the Czech” or "Czech Dom", because, let’s face it, he knew that Raab’s father was a Jewish émigré from the former Czechoslovakia…

As far as I can see from the tech on the site if 'Chris' exists then it's because he lives in a relationship of sorts with BenJimJohn and has nicked his computer password.

Not really Theno, memory like an elephant more like. I seem to remember that jim mk2 was indulged as, probably encouraged to be, the other place's in-house attack dog, usefully deployed against anyone deviating from the party line. No attempt to engage in discussion, just ad hominem attacks on individuals, who would then be banned, if they replied any way in kind. It served as a handy template for others that followed. He is one of the reasons why many posters/readers stopped going there. It became toxic. It would be a shame to see him, and his toxic brand, drag another Rovers related discussion board down to his level.

He got away with murder but I rem he has had a few bans to his name. Longest I believe in relation to criticising the victims of a school shooting in the USA. Might be wrong but I seem to think that he was 'cushty' with SteBirtwell for one reason or another. They probably met at some Trotskyist meeting or similar.
Anyway enough of all that. It's history now, let's move on.

Said before that I'm "bregreting" and it's definitely solidified. I still have zero sympathy for upset Remainers though. They brought this on themselves by simply refusing to acknowledge decades of opposition to our open doors immigration.

For many, immigration is the handful of westernized Asians in their white town/village, or it's the true multiculturalism of a big city. Only in a geographically fairly small area, mainly the Midlands, north west, west Yorkshire, and a scattering of southern towns, is it huge minority Muslim populations hostile to western culture. Do the people who live in these areas have valid concerns? No, they're just a bunch of racists.

Brexit is the punishment to all those engaged in that lazy, dismissive silencing for decades. Reducing immigration is a view that's been itching to come out, and it finally found a way. Enjoy Jim/John/Chris and co, this is your fault for not listening when you had the chance.
