No mention of whether Kharlan's friends, family or aquaintances have been killed / injured / displaced / raped / robbed etc by the Russian Army is there?

This hit on a Russian naval ship creates a massive explosion.

There’s a Ukrainian Swede in security who’s info is leaked on here in relation the war. Quite eye opening. A friend of mine sent me it a while ago. Seems to get refreshed every few days.

What's happened to the Wagner crew? They were promising hell fire and damnation to Putin when he killed their gaffer.

All of the mobnik and gopnik private PMC type crews got amalgamated and now serve under Lavrov and Co. They’re averaging 1350 a day deaths currently.

Nope. Russia's barrel is almost limitless. One thing that I do suspect is that Putin didn't count on support from the west and thought it would be all over after a month. Once he's chosen that route backing down becomes unforgivable for the collective Russian psyche.

The world has a shell crisis, not enough manufactured and very limited capacity, this despite Britain and others particularly in Eastern Europe and newly members of the EU/NATO all now using the same bore/gauge of ammo.

Remind me why Woolwich and Enfield (Weapons Making) got shut down again!

Russia has been using around 8 x as many shells as Ukraine, Russia has enough supply until late 2024. The drone factory they've built based upon the Iranian Shahed design looks like it's starting to churn out numbers, meanwhile Ukraine seems able to churn out 1000 low-spec drones.

The British shadow's appear to be reserved for taking out major figures such as ports, columns, ships/boats and weaponry transfer trucks.

On another side, my friend who's from Ukraine went back for Christmas this year, which I found slightly odd.

Good Webpage for the analytics - https://lookerstudio.google.com/rep...-de8eb98c8f3a/page/p_xfeqlwsvtc?s=tSep4iDX-Z4

So the war has cost approx. 45 billion dollars. That's about 1 month of the UK's covid cost under Sunak

I did initially think after Ukraine held Kyiv and started their counter-offensive about 2 months into the war, that maybe that would be it and Russia would give up. Then I started looking at the other major war Russia has been involved in recently in Chechnya. The first war there they fought for 20 months, then the second for 8 months. Then they spent 9 years suppressing further Chechnyan uprisings and now have the region under control.

So that changed my thinking on the Ukraine situation. Russia isn't a country that gives up or is any way bothered about being in it for the long haul. Its Ukraine's country so its not on us to fight it in my opinion, but as long as Ukraine wants to keep going, I think we should keep supplying it. Hopefully that will eventually cause some logistical or political breakdown in Russia which ends it, but I do think its looking more likely to be on the scale of about 10 years.

Russia's military policy is to chuck men and artillery / tanks in willy nilly in a way that many western countries would not be allowed to do but I can recall the Mujahadeed saw the Russkies off in Afghanistan.

True but that took 9 years and over a million combat deaths. Not saying they can't be beaten, just that saying they don't give up easily is quite an understatement.

I suspect that at some point people pressure will force Putin out as the body bag count increases.

The Russians seem quite happy with him though. I believe that they see the Ukraine as theirs by right. Remember us with the Falklands? (Personally I haven't got over Hong Kong yet!). Even better he's been putting convicts on the front line, imagine us thinning out our overcrowded gaols and getting rid of economic / illegal migrants, beggars and long term dolies in the same manner? Who knows? Maybe that could be Sunaks last chance of turning the next election around!!!

Ukraine was a part of the Soviet Union, just like Russia was. It’s been a separate country for centuries. It also seems to me that it provided the better part of the red army.

Sounds like a great idea. Use the criminals as the cannon fodder . . . .instead of using tax-payers money to provide them with full board and lodgings - including entertainment (like we do in the UK).

I would take Putin as PM over the two clowns the Brits get to chose from.

...and the money saved could be added to the defence budget. Badly needed.
