That should rule out any trips to Londonstan thenA terrifying ordeal but part of the blame must fall on himself. I made a rule half a dozen or more years ago after having visited Turkey, Egypt and Morocco (twice) NEVER to travel to an islamic nation ever again. Simple enough isn't it?

The world has gone insane . It's like making Gary Glitter a baby sitter champion or Fred west a building abasadorr
Nor me but its got just as much to do with western values than terrorism. Moreso the former in the case of countries that aren't warzones. Of course there are countries like Japan that have embraced some aspects of western culture but for whatever reason I've never felt any real desire to go. Really I'm only interested in the US for the most part so maybe its not just the western aspects more disinterest in general.A terrifying ordeal but part of the blame must fall on himself. I have spent a lot of time in the States. You will be surprised at the levels of poverty. I was in the Blue Mountains area of Tennessee 3years ago and there were (white) children with no shoes and torn clothing. I think a lot of the poverty was only aired at the time of the New Orleans floods - many Americans were surprised.Nor me but its got just as much to do with western values than terrorism. Mugabe's a thug. Zimbabwe was so much better as Rhodesia under Ian Smith. Some serious coin must have crossed palms for that one.http://news.sky.com/story/campaigne...-mugabe-made-who-goodwill-ambassador-11090785

I've visited Marrakesh in Morocco a couple of times BB. First time I went on a trek into the Atlas Mountains with a driver and a guide 'Khadija'. Nice girl who I chatted to for long enough. We stopped for coffee break on the way and were besieged by small Berber arab children who were attempting to sell us small coloured stones which they had collected from the desert. They obviously had little money as most of the houses were like war-time pill boxes with corrugated tin sheets. I asked Khadija if by taking westerners in Merc 4x4' with fancy cameras, phones and all the trappings of what to those kids must have represented fabulous wealth would not create future problems. She assured me that the Berbers are not like that and that it wouldn't. I nodded in acceptance but privately disagreed. Seems I was right in the main. No wonder half of Africa is queuing up to cross the Med to the EU (with a good number seeking to destroy it) when tourism, adventure holidays provide such vulgar displays of wealth to 2nd and 3rd world peoples.I used to go trekking in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the local economy benefited.
The last visit I spent 3 nights in Marrakesh at the end of the trek. The coffee shop I frequented was bombed two weeks later with a bomb in a shopping bag left at the very table I sat at. One man died, a travel writer from the London based Jewish Cronicle.
I will never visit Morocco again - just look at where many of the French and Belgium terrorists originated from. Sad, the country is lovely and the vast majority of the people are friendly and decent.
Probably by eating human bushmeat, the offal and brains of his enemies more like.In 2008 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer - an illness his wife Grace, 52, attributed to 'poor diet advised by enemies within the security department'.
Plenty of irony in his wifes name too.
Have they never watched 'Deliverance' BB?I have spent a lot of time in the States. You will be surprised at the levels of poverty. Reminds me of that hilarious episode of 'The Inbetweeners' when Jay lost his shoes.People walking around in Nottingham without shoes too.
Well done to the guy for being the one to do something - hope he didn't have far to walk afterwards!
